Ok. So the stereotype about Meg players being either absolute morons/noobs or knowing exactly what to do and being perfect runners is 100% true. And it'll happen to the same player in the same game. I can't explain it. It's something about the character. I run the killer for multiple gens and then run right into them for no reason.
It's all part of the plan. Other Megheads will understand. Everything you've heard about Megheads is true, and we regret nothing...

I'm also not clear as to why it needs a three second activation period, when it is an exhaustion perk already? It should be rewarding to use in the risky scenario a survivor hops in a locker while the killer is right on top of them.
Honestly i think that would be way too strong. It would be a guaranteed stun on the killer in most scenarios with no counter play. Even Dead Hard is not that strong.

Please BHVR, i know you can do it...

I have no idea... but i just love it.

My issues with NOED revolve mostly around its counterplay.
It's unintuitive. Yes, you can 'dO bONeS' as the old meme goes, but that's a gamble for Swiffers and a massive gamble for solos.
Firstly: fail to find even one totem, and NOED gets its full effect. This turns all totem-hunting efforts into a complete waste, adding slowdown on top of NOED's power. But since solos have no idea what their teammates are doing, they have no idea whether that totem they found is the fifth and thus worth cleansing, or the second and thus possibly not worth doing.
Yes, Small Game got the totem counter. But this just adds to the survivor 'perk tax', which cripples build diversity.
EDIT: firstly, part two: NOED gets pushed to whatever totem is left, which also means that cleansing every totem you can find pushes it to whatever totem you -can't- find, making it much harder to counteract.
Secondly: due to NOED requiring a team effort, it widens the gap between solo and Swiffer. No comms makes NOED stronger.
Thirdly: NOED's passive threat causes counterplay to make the perk take effect without being equipped. This adds to the gambling-nature of the counterplay: do bones when the killer doesn't have NOED and NOED becomes a stronger slowdown perk.
Fourthly: Due to the large investment required to counterplay it, NOED is an excellent supporting perk to hook camping. The only counter to facecamping is genrushing, and 'doInG BoNEs' is mutually exclusive with that.
Paradoxically, certain buffs to NOED might actually make it -less- of a problem. But one of the most simplistic fixes that should be implemented yesterday is a universal totem counter, to improve solo player's chances against it and narrow the Swiffer-Solo gap.
Agreed with this mostly. While i have nothing against NOED by itself, when you combine NOED with a Facecamping killer, it is just the most miserable experience you can ever have in this game.
When Otz was playing Bubba and was facecamping a poor David, he just left at some point because he said he couldn't bare it. And i get it. If you are a player that is even remotely concerned with how the experience is for the other players in the trial, you cannot seriously stomach facecamping
Which brings me to why survivors are overly-altruistic. I think that most survivors, including myself, just want the survivor that is on hook to not have to spend the entire game not doing anything. I don't care about escaping, i don't care if my last hook trade gets me killed in the end. I will gladly take the chase from a tunneled survivor, or hook trade.
Now is Facecamping a viable strategy, sure, stomps soloQ. Facecamping with NOED, stomps them even worse. At the end of the day, when you have to depend on the good-will of others to have an enjoyable experience, you will be sadly disappointed. Best you can do at the moment is take the L and hope for the best in the next game.
Best thing the devs can probably do at this point is severely hindering you from getting a Pip if you facecamp a survivor the entire match, and not depip the survivor that was facecamped. This way, the survivor that is on hook will not be incentivized to just DC, and the killer would be more compelled to pursue others. At least in theory...

Why as skins? Why not as their own character???
Believe me i want them both as individual characters! If they make a chapter just for Ellie and Joel, i will be the first one to buy them xD.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like they'd both fit better as Killers.
I mean, they're definitely both violent enough - and unlike people like Bill or Jill, Ellie and Joel don't generally have very moral motivations for their murder-sprees.
If BHVR could use Ellie or Joel I think they'd be wasted as yet another skin for pallet dropping and generator repairing when they could be a unique character with their own power and play style.
Maybe that's just me wanting a stealth Killer with a bow that utilizes sound cues in order to surprise Survivors though.
I don't know how that would work, lore wise. I guess in the realm of the Entity, anything would be possible. Maybe the Entity forces them to kill survivors, sort of like Trapper.

Hackers probably, i saw one in my lobby a few days ago too.

Ellie as a Legendary skin for Nea or in a TLOU chapter.

This could be a cosmetic for her.
Ellie would be amazing. If they ever do a TLOU chapter, i just hope they bring Joel too. He could also work as a skin for David maybe. I think a of his perks actually suit him.

You absolutely must watch the original Halloween. It's the OG, the granddaddy, the Creme de la Creme, the Grand Puba, i will stop now, of slasher movies. Michael Myers is such a cool character in his simplicity. He's just pure evil, no motive, no reasoning behind it, just pure unrelenting evil.

Creating portals all over the world that you can traverse in seconds sounds pretty damn cool

What if they were rare offerings that changed the way the game works?
Yellow mori: stays the same
Green Mori: The map spawns darker with only 5 generators that take three times as long to complete. Only one generator needs to be completed to escape, generators cannot be regressed. There are very few pallets and windows. Downed survivors can be moried. Can the survivors hide well enough to complete the gen before the killer finds and kills them?
Red Mori: There are no generators and the exit gates go live in 3 minutes. Very few pallets and windows all survivors are exposed. Hide well or die.
Green Key: There are four hatches in the game and 20 chests. Four of the chests have keys, only one survivor can escape per key. About half the normal amount of pallets and windows and survivors die in 2 hooks.
Red key: There are 50 hatches in the map it takes 10 seconds for a survivor to open a hatch. Only one hatch leads to freedom. Two hooks and you are dead, half windows and pallets.
I think the Idea is actually awesome. Each mori would be a different game mode. Love it. Also if people bring multiple offerings, just to avoid conflicts, the highest rarity will always be taken, and it's 50/50 if both killer and survivor have the same rarity.

Evil within would be interesting. Though, it kinda feels like Pyramid Head, you know what I mean?
Not saying it's a bad idea, I'm all a board that idea, I'm just curious if anyone else feels that way
Not if they bring in Laura, that would be awesome. Safehead is kind of a discount Pyramid Head

I think doc takes this one. Wraith doesn't look much like a straight up fighter.. could use some leg days at the gym...
-
When i first saw the teaser, my mind went "The Ring.. it's friggin Samara"... one can only hope...

At this point i'm sure it's 99.99% Hellraiser but i just thought i would throw this in here:
There was a Friday the 13th TV series released in september 1987 (kind of coincides with the killer release date). Also, i may be wrong, but all the letters that have been confirmed could be atributed to Friday the 13th Jason Voorhees :D.

Please let it be Chucky...

So you want freddy gen teleport and oni dash combined then?
Not exactly. I was thinking something like this:
If a survivor who is injured remains in one place without taking any action for more than 5 seconds, say 4 meter area, it creates a pool of blood that the killer can teleport to. It would fit conceptually with the character and it would have nice interactions with say Iron Will, in that although the person is silent, you force them to move. For the dash I was just thinking something like a sprint burst actually Don't know how it should work, if it should have a cooldown or be charge based, whatever makes sense :). Also she has a really cool mori animation

I think Laura from Evil Within would fit the bill. Give her like a Oni dash, but instead be like a spider crawl sprint. Also some way to teleport through pools of blood like she does in the game.
