I'm a devotion 10 player red rank killer and rank 1 survivor....you might need to get a new game if you truly believe his rhetoric because you're just being salty.
Rank and devotion means nothing in this. It's mostly about how oppressive and how far hard he can snow ball. I'm pretty sure you're mostly a red rank killer main with like 2% of your games being survivor. Seems like you're the salty one here.

But you're wrong....everyone who reads your conjecture will realize you're being a whiny nerd and move on
Personally, I agree with @SirFloofington about oni. He is oppressive as heck. He does need another nerf. You on the other hand, Need to go play against more of oni to see where the survivors side of the arguments are coming from. It's abysmal that there's mongoloids on here and defend any little over tuned thing for a killer, but whine about balanced landing.

We finally got a good killer that is super fun to play and also super fun to play against and you are already complaining about it? Unfortunately this is not surprising.
Yea, @SirFloofington is correct. Everyone's definition of fun is different. But I personally think he's a little bit over tuned. Maybe reduce how much charge he gets from blood orbs would be best. Because even after the Oni hits just 1 survivor, He's guaranteed his power. If we still had old styptic agent in the game it would be more tolerable because then survivors could use it to deny his power for just a little bit longer. But, going back to current day, He'll just chase the injured survivor and get his power and then steam roll the rest of the match.

Sorry man but 5 minutes Games without ruin (doesnt matter how much pressure You did) won't get changed Is sad. But get used to it devs don't Care about 5 min games. I mean actually imo and tbh they barely ever cared about the killer.
True they don't care about match length, they only care about cash grabbing at the moment. But most of the buffs are towards killer's rather than survivors.

Kill rates keep up (and exceed, really) with current gen speeds. People can dismiss the stats all they want, but it’s a fact. I have no issue with something addressing gen speed if it also addresses camping and tunneling, however. Totally linked issues. Both sides have to use perks. Either both do, or neither has to.
You're right on that part, But what's seriously stupid is why make the games faster just to go back into queue for 20mins to find a dang match? I would rather enjoy a slightly slower game and rack up the bloodpoints than wait 20mins for a 10min match.

This argument doesn't really hold any weight -- they could just hire less artists and more devs.
More to the point however, a big reason the game health takes so long to improve is that the game only updates every 45 days on average, aside from hotfixes/cosmetic releases.
True, That's something they can always do. But we know they won't go for it since they're going with cash grabs for now. Also, I read back in june that they were going to tighten the attack cone for killer's, Still waiting for that one.

Don't diffrent teams work on cosmetic and game health sides?
Yes, But I feel they could have both work on health for awhile. I think it used to be all on health and when the cosmetics came, They split the team.
-
There's already perks that do that. No need to make it any slower.

Wait you want the devs to work on a game? They haven't worked on the game since they created the game. They're just in it for the money and they'll make it any DLC they can to squeeze another buck out of their customer base without having to fix their own broken game.
I honestly feel the devs are just not wanting to put in the effort. Because the state of the game shows how much they actually put into it. Which seems to me very little. But one of these days, The player base won't wanna tolerate the cash grab anymore and DBD will eventually die because of their laziness I guess. Like in all seriousness, A lot of players have been asking for fixed hit boxes and other bug fixes / balancing and it takes them months to do the smallest thing.
-
Honestly, It would be nice to just have the reduced stagger time over the burst of speed. It would still retain it's purpose if the devs would go that route don't you think?
-
But seriously, Survivors do need some form of buff. Hell I would do away with aura perks all together if it were up to me.
-
I don't fully agree with removing swf.
Survive with friends is a pain in the ass for killers I understand that. But you guys always fail to take it from a survivors point of view. As a survivor, You must work as a TEAM to try and escape instead of bumbling around like solo queue idiots.
I feel that taking SWF out of the competitive queue would kill DBD instantly. It'll drive away a massive amount of the player base. There are a lot of players who only like to play with friends and not be farmed by a random or screwed over.
With the bonus BP per swf member. That wouldn't be fair to the survivors in the game. If it would be like %5 to everyone. That's perfectly fine. But if it's just the killer that's not fair.
Making specific swf perks won't help the matter. I can take a stab in the dark here and say that the killer mains want to be able to have the exposed status 24/7 throughout the match. (I'm talking about the killer's who NEVER have touched survivor and doesn't know how it feels in there shoes.).
Refering to Rule 5 in that article. Using 3rd party software or other tools to gain any kind of unfair advantage wasn’t intended by the game, except if they have been whitelisted by us. Heavy proof and a video recording is mandatory." <--- That's referring to cheating or giving some type of vision assist or movement speed increase. Voice communication doesn't violate that what so ever. If it did, Noob3, Puppers, Monto, And a lot of other content creators would have been banned. So that leaves it to the Killer's being butt hurt.
-
Also, I've been thinking. Another reason the Old Decisive Strike was good is for 2 things. 1: Deny a BBQ stack. and Second Deny the hook to avoid the mori. I get it upsets the killer's because "It's unfair" "There should be no get out of jail free card" Well, Where's the fairness for the survivors? We shouldn't have to play immersed or hide. There's no fun in being stealthy and there's a lot of killer abilities and or perks that constantly reveal us to the killer. I do agree with how there shouldn't be a "Get out of jail free card" But survivors do need some other ways to deny the mori's. Which is why I brought up the wiggle adjustment. (Personal note here: I'm so tired of having these killer mains constantly bitching and moaning on here that the survivors need nerfs or perks are over powered, I'm talking about those killer mains that haven't shared the survivors point of view)
-
So what you're saying is..... Survivor's should all run different perks? I'm with you on both sides here. It sucks major ass when it happens but like @ShrekIsHot said. All you can do is prepare for the worst. That also looks like a SWF so they're all coordinated which I think is perfectly fine in DBD. Because survivors need to work as a team to escape.
-
@NuclearBurrito Oh yea, EndGame collapse is coming. Which also leaves the possibility open for survivors to free themselves and have Mettle up to run to a exit gate, If they can make it before the timer is gone.
-
You do realize that DBD has it's issues where you do get disconnected? Yea some people see a mori offering as a killer and nope out, or playing as a killer they dislike going against. But as a punishment is concerned. I think maybe a 2 hour ban would be a nice way to start giving out punishments. But you do gotta take into consideration that people's internet is complete garbage (Like mine) and constantly likes to drop time to time.

1) that is a very stupid decision unless the Killing hook you alright by hatch there's no way you would be able to escape even if you did manage to get the lucky chance of getting off Hook mainly because the killer would just be waiting to immediately put you back on hook.
2) The wiggle bar is to prevent Killers from having complete and utter control over where they put you. For example a killer taking you to basement or taking you halfway across the map to their 3 gen strat. Getting picked up is meant to result in being hooked nine times out of ten without a perk build or teammates to save you. If they make it too easy to go out then they're going to have to compensate by increasing the hook density and then you'll start complaining that there's too many hooks.
3) no the perk is actually a lot more balanced it's not a get out of jail free card that allows survivors to make stupid moves or be incredibly toxic because they know they can get away with it.
I can agree with you on that @Aari_Piggy66 No perk is meant to be a (Get out of Jail free card) But the attempts would at least be nice. For the wiggling, Now that you mentioned hook density and I've been thinking about it. Yea, It seems like a dumb idea but like maybe 1% faster since you know..... Solo playing survivor is rough when you can't communicate and coordinate a game plan. ( I know a lot of people ######### and moan about swf but you're meant to work as a team to escape). Yes there's killer's who like to put you next to hatch just to rub the salt in and be a douche.

@Orion said:
There is no point in letting the last survivor get off the hook. You lost, just accept it and stop trying to waste everyone's time.
As for wiggling, it's only there to make sure the killer can't bring you into the basement every time. If you think it's useless, then don't wiggle, ever. I assure you killers everywhere will thank you for it.
We shouldn't have to accept that, There are perks and offerings to help with escape attempts and succeeding the escape. Along with with wiggle speed, It just needs a small increase so that way survivors have a chance to wiggle off. (Also, Not trying to sound rude or mean here Orion, But you seem like the type that always wants buffs to killers and nerf the survivors.)

No, It's should at least give us a small chance to get off, Like a last attempt at surviving. But seriously Orion, Why should we have to *accept the lost* when there's offerings and perks just for the reason to be able to try and attempt? It's kind of asinine to look at it with your view. (personal thought here about you, You seem like the type to always complain about how OP survs are and need nerfs.) With the wiggle, It's simply to slow. Like maybe increase it just a small tad so that way the survivors can have a change to actually wiggle off.
-
Have you played on PTB? You'll clearly see that it still does.

You BECOME the obsession after using the perk. Being the obsession is no longer required for the perk to be usable.
One out of the 4 survivors still start as the obsession. So if you're the unlucky one that get's the obsession first. You're not going to get picked right back up to use it. Which still other perks to use so you don't just wait.
-
@Orion That's True, I can agree with you on that. Yea, Unbreaka-bill is a good to next choice or no-mither if you're ballsy enough mixed in with tenacity. But it's going to suck regardless if "You Are" the survivor who starts with obsession, Also I just wanna find a way better solution to the change that's still fair to survivors and killers while keeping the perk tried and true to itself. But other than that there's a few more issues I can complain bout like hit boxes.
-
But that's the issue @Orion . All the killer has to do is not pick you back up for 60 seconds. Alas a good chunk of DBD player's don't wanna pick you up if the killer leaves because ether they're on a gen. Being chased ETC ETC. So you get screwed ether way. That's why I'm suggesting a different way to keep it fair to both survivors and killer's without it returning to a annoyance for them.
