Yes it does. I've grabbed plenty of people off of gens. You just gotta be quick about it. mainly gens, pallets not so much, windows are a rare thing for me too.
Probably. Every time I try, I get halfway into the animation and then they run off. Its so annoying.

I would personally like to opt out against SWF.
I used to play a lot but SWF just ruins the fun for me in all honesty; so i can only stomach a few games at a time now days.
I feel the exact same way. I've been getting only swf's recently whenever I play killer, and it is just so stressful. It makes the game unfun because the swf's are just higher in skill than you are, and so the whole game is them just playing around with you.

Crossplay means more players which means the game thrives more.
No swf means less players and punishes people playing with friends, hurting the game.
I don't think you understand me. I never mentioned getting rid of swf's, I meant that there should be an option that let's you decide whether or not you want to be paired up against swf's. That's what I mean.

We need more killers. There are simply to many survivors for the few killers we have. That needs to change.
I agree, but then there's balance and then the fact that matchmaking itself still doesn't change. But I do agree, we need more killers. At this point, I don't care if they're licensed or not.

Making swfs optional is a terrible idea.
You would have to say then that making cross platform optional is a horrible idea aswell. If I don't want to be paired with players from a different platform, I shouldn't have to. Why can't I have the same thing with swf's? Maybe I don't want to go against sweaty red rank swf's that blast through gens and make the game like its a cutscene because of how fast it is. Or maybe I'm tired of flash light clicking survivors who moonwalk everywhere and wait out the entire timer instead of leaving in the endgame. Please do explain, and if you have any better ideas, feel free to share.

I've tried Trickster with the new buffs and i can't see much of a difference from before. Its still slow and survivors feel comfortable around it because its not intimidating enough, just like the old version of the Nurse. Slow and easy to win against.
The Devs are making a big fuss over K-pop and making it sound like this killer is a big deal, but making the face of this chapter weak as balls isn't the best way to make people feel the same. Putting blood on a singer to make it look cool isn't an excuse for lack of effort when it comes to the ability.
If anyone has any suggestions please leave a comment. And welcome Trickster, DBD's newest punching bag for survivors
And if anyone from the DBD team are reading this and don't feel the same, then by all means, tell us your part.
honestly. I love how the devs can speed up everything regarding his power, but STILL NOT INCREASE HIS BASE MOVEMENT SPEED. How difficuly is it to make him 115%?

Honestly, I think they should do the same thing that they did with cross platform: You should be able to go in to the options and turn swf's on or off. On: You will be paired with them. Off: You will not be paired with survivor with friends

- Even if it was camping. Who cares? There's no rule against camping and you don't owe survivors an explanation.
- Again - even if it was. Who cares? Survivors ######### about anything. Just kill them, any means necessary. That's literally your objective. Don't let them gatekeep your gameplay just because "they didn't have fun". It's not your job for them to have fun.
As a wise man once said "I'm the killer. Its my job to kill you" (some of you may know who I'm talking about). But that is very true. From the way survivors play, I don't even want to hear about how we play the game. Camping, slugging, "tunneling" (which has 1 million different definitions), who cares. Survivors will bring op meta perks and add-ons, blast through gens like there's no tomorrow, and do toxic behaviors.

That's the thing, you don't.

And no I don't mean it as a "Wahh they are so mean! they tick the flashlight and teabag!".
I mean they have zero fear, zero worries, you're literally aproaching them wtih the intention of killing them and they won't care. You can approach them while they are doing a gen and they will just laugh it off and keep doing it, specially if they are about to finish it, after all, why would they even worry when they can just use one of the 9999 pallets near them if you hit them or if you hook them someone will just unhook them.
Killers are as scary and threatening in the game as a flower. Hell Survivors will even keep doing gens with no worries even while having deep wounds.
I mean, its just a game. Now this is coming from someone who plays both killer and survivor (and I've been playing killer more lately). When survivors know they can juke you and outplay you and mind game you pretty easily while busting gens like their's no tomorrow, then they aren't going to be scared. After all, we're just humans playing the role of a frictional killer. There is nothing to be scared off. Its not the killer, its the person playing the killer. I experience this a lot with red rank swf's. Instead of expecting survivors to fear you, outplay them, outsmart them, and beat them at their game to annoy them and make them DC like the champs they are. But sadly, this is easier said then done. But it takes lots of practice to do this, and I haven't gotten there just yet.

Since the update, i've noticed Killer que times have been longer than usual. Am i the only one?
Also, i'm a rank 5 killer being put with red ranks :/....its like...where's the logic in that? And i'm a rank 5 survivor being put with other survivors that are like rank 16. Seriously, what?
Can someone explain
Mines have been a little longer, but I understand the red ranks. I normally get paired with swf's that moon walk and gen gens done within 2 minutes. So at this point I just try adopting as best I can.

I gave up hope on that a long time ago. Grabbing just DOES NOT work.

I think it's a response that reveals how little the person plays killer.
Real talk. I played against a red rrank, moonwalking swf's yesterday who were all really good, and as Wraith I was able to bait out every dead hard. You have to time it right, and as some killers its easier. I was playing Wraith, so I just had to partially cloak and it worked. For other killers the pressure of being right up on you will force survivors to use Dead Hard. I have no idea what this guy is saying.
-
True, when I play survivor, there is always a gen right there. I remember playing a game as killer just yesterday against a swf.... I kid you not, I have three survivors moonwalking in front of me NOT doing gens. Now, I'm wraith, and I have the add-on that allows me to see how far a gen is to be completed. This team is your moon walking, toxic swf's that makes you want to DC, and I promise you they had THREE GENS 90% IN THE FIRST MINUTE OF THE GAME. MINUTE, not minutes, MINUTE. And mind you, I had THREE of them in front of me in chase constantly. Its sad how fast gens go, and depending the killer can't do anything. I had like two hooks the whole game because they were so much more experienced and better than I was in chase. Suffice to say it was an unfair game that ended in 4 minutes, with most gens at 90% .
-
I play killer and survivor about the same amount of times. As survivor, I get trash team mates and a good killer. When I play killer I get red rank survivor with friends that moonwalk every other second. I always think of it as this: the next match could be better. The more I play the better I get, and so these swf's will not be as difficult as I get more and more experienced in the game. Another thing I think is that DBD is just a game that doesn't need to be taken seriously, its a game, just for fun. After many L's, it feels really good to dominate a survivor team.
These are the things I normally think, hopefully it helps some people out.

Survivors need to go.
They keep t-bagging me, using flashlight macros, taking sweaty offerings like Haddonfield when I am just trying to have fun, saying mean things in post game chat almost every game. In my opinion survivors need to get out of the game.
I understand so much. I tried him yesterday and got Lery's...... must anything be said. Because of the map layout, his power is practically useless. He's a 110 killer, so you can imagine how fun it was running a marathon trying to get to gens, and to top it off, all the survivors were swf's that were moonwalking and really good in chase. That's normally not a problem because killer power helps out and I'm somewhat decent at killer, but dear God when I keep getting matches where I'm practically getting bullied as Tricksters. Survivors make this game so unenjoyable at times.

True, I agree. The gens really need a reform. It doesn't even matter how good you are at the game, if you have an optimal team, then there is little chance your getting hardly any kills. I just had a game where two gens were done in literally the first 50 seconds of a game. I kidd you not. The only way that your gonna do good is if you have a strong three gen, good pressure (which is difficult for some killers), slowdown perks (which shouldn't even be an obligation for killers to have), and luck that you don't get a sweaty red rank swf's. Mind you, even rank gold and green ranks get these players. Its so annoying...
