While I don't think I can really speak on behalf of Temple of Purgation since there are so many maps, some of which have boosted pick rates…
I can say that Mother's Dwelling is way too dense with pallets; the main structure itself is already strong. I was surprised to find out there was a pallet with mildly obscured LoS. So, unless you had haste or some anti-loop power, it was unlikely that a killer would be able to mind game the pallet at an already strong structure. It's hard to see it, but the pallet is located behind the wood pillar in front of me.

A Bully Squad is a little odd, because you don't actually see them that often. For the most part it's a term that people, typically killer-bias players have coined on matches that were difficult. An example I would have is where I got my butt handed to me as Vecna on a map the survivors sent me to. Was it kind of sweaty? yeah, but nothing near bullying. They wanted to win, so they brought what made sense to them (map offerings, items, perks, etc.)
Your final point of being malicious is really what "makes" a bully squad. As a bully squad isn't inclined to win, the true goal is to mentally degrade the player being targeted (survivor or killer) to the point where even if they do win, they don't feel good about it.
A common example would be using bugs to hold the game hostage while taunting it, or performing activities in bad faith like spamming the unhook animation on someone to prolong their death and hold them on the hook for an extended period of time, using perks to reveal your teammates and expose them to the killer (it happens more than you think in solo queue). Or intentionally sending yourself to problematic map bugs to gain an upper hand like "fat shaming" spots where the killer can't move through but the survivor can.
Again, this doesn't happen all that often, it's once every so many months that you might experience this. Where the stars align and a bug goes unnoticed and not kill switched.

Personally, I've enjoyed the update so far, outside of a few outliers like the mega slowdown builds for plague and Legion. However I was expecting some problems like this for such a big update/change like this, reminds me of preseasons that they do in League of Legends.
On the other hand though, I still have my feedback, that is, no matter how much you buff killer or survivor, map design is still piss poor. Visuals are great but looping new maps has been abysmally dumb like Garden of Joy or Eyrie.
And, while I don't like DS, I think nerfing it in this way wasn't a great decision... in terms of the stun duration, not the EGC thing, thank god they added that!
But, as it stands, while a 3 second stun may help you against a m1 killer like a large portion of the roster, it's completely useless against top tier killers like blight, spirit and nurse who can just close the gap. this creates this inconsistency and will probably make it feel frustrating to use. I personally think that DS should disable a killers power for a few seconds to bring the higher tier killers in line with the lower ones in terms of anti tunneling.
Also, I'm still hoping for some Kinship changes, that perk can be an excellent anti facecamp perk. But the requirements plus SoloQ players makes it very frustrating to use. There are very few times where I can actually get value out of it because it doesn't really communicate that I have that perk and that it's procd to other survivors. Personally I'd make it activate after a certain set time (10 seconds on the hook struggling) if the killer is within a set distance of the hook. additionally make it change the aura of the struggling survivor and display a HUD notification for all survivors so they know that they have some bit of extra time.
-
Here's my input/opinion before I even test it out on the ptb, this is coming from someone who loves playing killer and sometimes plays survivor
This perk should stun the killer for 3 seconds, however it should disable the use of the killers power for an amount of time after getting stunned (5 seconds after stun maybe?). That way a nurse can't omegablink after those 3 seconds, or a blight can't immediately rush you down. It would mainly target killers with mobility built into their kits.
We've seen this done with Trickster when he ends his main event (currently the cooldown is low, but my point stands). And we've even had old legion where he lost his power gauge when hitting a survivor, so nothings really stopping BHVR from testing this out.

Here. I even timestamped it to this particular flavor of nonsense.
I would also like to add that it functions similar to old on release MoM. against a competent nurse or a good blight, it's a minor inconvenience as you have that mobility to catch up and Incredibly strong. but to other killers like Onyro, trapper, any m1 killer that lacks lethality with their power it's a lot more of a hinderance since they have to loop a lot more. it's ridiculous how much dead hard has stagnated the killer pool.

Honestly considering that the “meta” for survivors is composed of DS/BT/DH/IW , 2 of those perks are a result of Camping and Tunneling. Two playstyles that outside of being boring are also problematic for the game with Camping being flat out cheesed out by certain killers. Makes the whole argument surrounding the lack usage of other perks useless. Because nothing is changing on that front.
Many times I have brought more “fun” builds only to be met with getting face camped. So my next move is to go for what will AT LEAST buy me a little bit of time. DS and BT.
I think it is important to note this because it is literally defining the core of the game. When it should be more about chases and patrolling gens for killers. Not standing at a hook at 5 gens up.
I agree, as much as I do hate Decisive Strike and Borrowed time, the reason it's there to begin with is due to the unhealthy playstyles of camping and tunneling. Killers like Bubba excel at doing this and there should be some core changes to encourage chasing more than the tunnel or camp strat that SBMM currently supports.

Aura reading perks will still be useful. Just because you know someone is getting chased or is injured that doesn't mean you'll know where they are.
I think that more info for survivors is great for both sides. We could see killers getting more buffs now that they can't clean sweep a solo queue team.
They will be, but I think they see a lot less usage after a change this big. I rarely see aura perks in actual use when you can just take meta perks to increase your chase time or survivability. and I also think this would also help BHVR when it comes to marketing DLC that offers a survivor with aura reading to help the team.

Yes, but that is good. We want the game to be good to play and then balance that. So, lets see how the game evolves from those HUD changes and then see changes to Killers after that. This is how games that evolve over time has to work, there is no other way.
I have developed many opinions, often starting out with a very basic concepts that change overtime as I play the game more, either by playing against said perks or using said perks.
for example, I still think Boon totems need a core change to them, snuffing it out as killer isn't enough. so why not make it so that every time a killer snuffs a totem location, it takes longer to bless that specific totem? make it stack as well to discourage blessing the same totem and keep the killer guessing and not create those extremely irritating boon locations like the top of the RPD library. Maybe even after so many snuffs it should destroy the totem.

True. I basically aftercare to know what people are doing, there wouldn't really be any point of it if this icon thing was a... thing
yes, exactly what I thought. With this you can somewhat customize your survivor to accommodate for the kind of build you plan on doing

survivor totem perks have never really been an issue with me, it's rather the spots that they spawn in. If totems spots weren't as rng I think that undying wouldn't be as necessary to run.
On the newer maps they do a good job with hiding totems, just look at Dead Dawg, but on the three starting maps there are numerous occasions where totems are in the middle of the field willing to be cleansed.
-
That's called using a VPN, I've had this happen to me before (a long time ago) and it's frustrating to go against sometimes due to the fact that they are quite literally everywhere at once it's also not very fun to get hit from 30 miles away...

Pig is weak?? uhh ok.
she can either be really good, or really bad, it's based on the rng of the kit. there's a good way to implement rng in a kit, and a bad way to do it. Trapper is a good way of doing rng because he can still reuse his traps if a survivor breaks free. Meanwhile Pig has really bad rng, where either your trap will be cracked within the first 30 seconds, or it will leave you in a puddle of blood, and once they're gone, they're gone. I think they should try to implement more skill into pig and tone down the rng of her power.

I'm not even sure how to do it. I think I've done it by accident though?
I haven't played blight since his POV change, but I think it has to do with uping your DPI or sensitivity and flicking while attacking
I also don't know if this is still a thing, but if you pause the game while in rush you will stop moving momentarily
-
this happened to a killer perk a long time ago, surveillance on PBE used to start the match off with all the generators being white and highlighting when a survivor worked on it. Obviously it was too strong so they nerfed it but it's still fine.
with lucky break, It's okay as of now, I'd imagine that they may buff it and add 5-10 seconds, but nothing more

Then they will complain about our Devour Hope stacks!
Shhhhhhhh, that's the thing we don't tell them about! it's our little surprise!

Killers, please be considerate and stare at a wall while survivors perform their unhooks.
Thank you x
As part of the killer community, we will not only stare at the wall, but we will also make sure to be at least 64 meters away from any hooked survivors or incomplete generators to ensure that the survivor has a nice rescue and give ample time for the hooked survivor to get over their trauma.

The colour blind mode doesn't change the colours per se, it does change the red on the Deutranope but that's due to people with that type of vision having trouble seeing red on a dark background. The aura's of the perks that you mentioned are yellow so whilst people with other types of colour blindness might see them as a different colour (I think one type of colour blindness would see these as green) they would still see them.
okay, that's awesome, I can't wait to let my friend know about this, thanks for the help!

it's a rough pick for me, but I'd have to say either Oni or Blight, amazing visual design that made me want to play the killer right off the get go
also, Blight's jaw... or what's left of it got some jiggle physics.

I try and respect everyone's opinions and they're beliefs, but one opinion that grinds my geers the wrong way is the opinion that killer players, can't be toxic.
This, I decided to take a small break from killer and tried to do a survivor item challenge (I took a purple medkit), and I got queued against 3 iri head huntresses, all had moris... and it happened 3 times in a row.
After that I switched back to killer.

It does change the killer's red stain, I can confirm that. What do you mean by highlights specifically though? Not entirely sure and I did run some fairly heavy tests on the two types I have last night.
sorry for taking so long, but perks like Better Together, Zanshin Tactics, Discordance etc.

Unfortunately I can't say this for all oni's, but I always had difficulty using his power, is it good? definitely, does it have a high skill ceiling? Yes. But that's not the problem for me, it's usually the fact that to perform great at high ranks, you have to slug as much as you can. because if you pick up a survivor that's it, your blood fury's gone.
At least that's why I put Oni on the shelf, he's not bad by any means, but his power demands too much (too much blood, too much slugging) to perform well in high ranks.

A lot of killers were influenced or based off of real life events/locations or people.
The Trickster is no acception, you can clearly see he's based off of a type of Joker-esk style along with serial killer hiding behind an kpop idle identity.
I don't think anyone would ever want to be a fan of a serial killer, but the Joker part here is somewhat important. The people who idolize him are often plain weirdos who want to get the same attention as the fictional character.
My point? I totally get where you're coming from, but I think it's unlikely that someone will try to adopt The Tricksters identity.

My idea for NoED:
-No more Exposed Status
-Killer keeps the speed bonus
-Killer now sees the aura of all survivors as long as the totem stands.
This makes it threatening, without it being an easy-win.
This does sound like an interesting concept, however, I think there should be some restrictions to this, for example it shouldn't provide auras of the survivors in chase with the killer because it makes mind games mean absolutely nothing. Either make the survivors lose that in chase, or make it so that it works from a certain distance away from the killer.

yea... I don't think Pennywise is getting into dbd anytime soon.
Is it because the lore wouldn't fit? No, they literally just have a bland description for demogorgon (I love demogorgon, just shitting on the bio)
It's because in an AMA awhile back (shortly before Oni's release) someone asked Mccote (or some other dev) about other potential licensed killers. And he responded by saying that they contacted Stephen King, but he never responded back.
I'd also like to point out that Stephen King is known to be very closed about his books being turned into other sorts of media. If I recall he didn't even like the idea of a modern IT movie.

Hmm,him being unfun for you is just your opinion.
There are a lot of people, including me,that have a lot of fun playing him.
Changing his power isn't necessary
why not both a kit update and a addon update? I actually like seeing this stuff, and for me, I find demo's power is very underwhelming, I feel like there should be more reasons to cleanse portals. And from my experience playing Demogorgon (just p2 him today) his shred feels janky, like sometimes Ill hit things that I didn't know I could reach but the next moment I won't hit the survivor... or my shred won't make me move and I'll get exhausted.
It would be certainly interesting if demo received some sort of visual update as well... even though I think he looks amazing.

I too can verify that there is invisible collision with the certain walls on temple of purgation

My friend (I'll name him J) and I were on Badham, I started near the school so I went downstairs to work on the gen. J asks me where I am and I tell him. the gen was downstairs near the right exit if you were to enter through the front. he comes down the stairs quite slowly and I focus on him and we start talking, that's when I thought I heard an extra pair of footsteps. The convo went something lime this:
Me: "Hey did you hear that?"
J: "Hear what?"
Me: "I could have sworn I heard footsteps, I guess it was you but you weren't walking"
J: "Okay, lets just work on the gen"
J proceeds to take about three steps towards the gen and looks to his left to see a ghostface peaking around the corner looking at me. He bolts it and yells at me to turn around, I was already done for as by the time I got off the generator I was marked and he was hot on my ass. Probably one of the best moments I've had as a survivor in DBD.

Also happening to me, this has only occurred once on Temple of Purgation though.
