It seems like the tail currently has a bug with not properly applying the movement speed slowdown at all times. I would rather we not nerf a killer that isn't currently working properly.
"Bug"
Clearly intended,it was never in PTB,so how can you tell that P2W huntress has a bug?!

I remember hearing on a stream awhile back about camping solutions involving the ability for survivors to unhook themselves if the killer had stayed close for too long. Is that still coming because I haven’t heard a thing about it since and I’m still getting camped every other game.
They realised this would make survivors players enjoy their game.
That's a big no,NO!

A big nerf.
It'd be a nice change to be forced to play something else.
Who needs survivor players anyway,lmao----BHVR clearly not killer biased

You play TCM...that's how you run the Xenomorph.
He's OP,right now...we have to wait for nerfs,if we do see...I mean Sadako was at 55-60 KR...now she's at 60+.
The Alien might remain a problem with the only counter beign...gen rushing and not beign found...
Fun...right?

Just to reiterate what Mandy said, the issue seems to be just the description, the perk still works as usual.
Do you have the slightest idea how little that answers?
We want to know,is this a planned change?
Are you trying to soften the blow?
Do you do some crowd control before the damage?
Are you finally coming out as killer sided?

I don't think people realize just how strong this perk can be, it definitely needs a small nerf.
With that said, I think the aura distance is what needed a nerf, not a cooldown.
No cooldown, reduce it down to 20 meters and it'll be in a good spot imo.
No.

7000 BP in the hardest to get category,survival...
7000 × 4 = 28.000 just from escaping,so yes...I'd like to escape.

Hi BHVR,
I don’t think it should be nerfed to the ground, but I think distortion needs a slight nerf. I run a lot of aura reading perks as a killer and although I think it is fine for them to not work a lot of the time, 100% of the time is a bit overkill.
Here is what I would do to change it:
- Tokens don’t build up during chase anymore. Make it like stakeout where you have to be hiding within the killer’s terror radius to build tokens. (Either this or make it so it only builds stacks during chase so survivors can’t hide for the entire game)
Edit: I removed the second change because I decided the first one would suffice.
In its current state, tokens regenerate when you are playing survivor regularly. For a perk which counters all Aura perks, it shouldn’t be up for the entire game without actual effort on the survivor’s part.
The killers took our sabotaging, our flashlight, our solo gameplay, our hatch...our generator and our medkits and toolboxes.
And ofc,it's not enough, they also need to take anything stealth related.
I wouldn't be surprised this guy puts a forum post with the "Are pallets really necessary?".
How about you try this...GET GOOD at the game and stop asking for nerfs for the most "meh" perks ever!

Hello. I could use some advice, I guess. I started playing this game around the time Silent hill chapter was released cause I'm a silent hill fan. I have 1200 hours basically playing DBD off,and on since then. About 90% of those hours has been spent playing survivor. I'm trying to get more into playing killer now.
So I don't really have a main killer yet,but I have fun playing huntress. I just like throwing hatchets at people. I don't consider her my main cause she slow, and is bad on a lot of maps. So today I wanted to get practice in with her,but I loaded up on red forest map, a map I find very hard to play her on,so I like mentally checked out of that match, and was just like screw gens in gonna practice throwing hatchets. I don't consider myself very good with her. I missed a lot of hatchet throws, and after the gens were done I had someone on the hook, and the rest of the team came to try and save them. We went back and forth. I ended up with 2 kills at the end. I was called a camper, and I was like you mean after all the gens were done yeah what else would you like me to do. I'm suppose to camp at that point in the match. Then they said I sucked at huntress missed all my shots. So my question is do you still play killers you suck with? It's not my first time playing huntress I just normally swap to her every so often between survivor matches to have fun. I don't like being called I suck. I know I'm not the best, but should I just give up on her,and find a different killer? What do you guys think?
Oh..you come to the forums, complain how unfair the game is,not your fault...the usual yada yada.
You get applauded and cheered by the killer community, you won't have to worry about a survivor expressing their opinion and calling you out on your lack of skill,as the moderators here will take care of them....or the killer community.
Then in about 2-3 months you'll receive new content, buffs and nice perks while these OP survivors will receive a new skin and some garbage perks...and maybe a nerf.

I'm sooo curious to see an official killrate and pickrate for 2023. 😋
You guys have some predictions?=)
The previous one (September 2022) has some really unexpected info.
(Forgot my prediction) Top killrate is gonna have SM. (Probably wrong, due to previous stats)
Top 3 pickrate are gonna have these: Wesker, Huntress, Wraith.
Probably because KR are in 60%...
And this would tell us just how boring and bad survivor has become..
Which of course would mean either buffs for survivors or simply reverts.

This is why we need a general killer nerfs, refuse to listen killer's complaints, and just go back to 2018-2019.
Even at 4K or 3K these people won't be satisfied.
It used to be "Oh we barrely get more than 1 kill"
Then was "Hatch is not balanced,it deprives the killer of their hard earned 4k"
How about that survivor that just got screwed over by the team/rng map/killer.
Now they don't even feel good absolutely destroying the survivors.
BHVR you spoon fed the killer community and now the game's unplayable as survivor..

No offense but it sounds like you are in low MMR hell. That doesn't necessarily you mean you are bad at the game but it does mean that getting out of there won't be easy. Unfortunately such a thing exists in every multiplayer coop game. In DBD it is probably at its worst since you play in a team of 4 against 1 person. That means that all 4 should work together but especially in low MMR this does not work out. You get team mates that have no idea what they are doing you get team mates that are just bad and all of this drags you down.
Once you get out of there it will be better though. You will still get the occasional incredibly bad lobby but overall it is manageable.
I am not in low elo, actually I am trying to depip to get easier and more calm games.
And please in the future don't reply to me without proof of your achievements as survivors.
I need concrete proof of you facing the Nurse whom,I believe both you and the Reinami guy said "has counterplay".

Riiight, so.
"Killers are OP and win constantly when survivors aren't DCing and afking"
"Ok cool, can you show some videos of this?"
"No"
So its just conjecture with no proof or evidence of anything that we can analyze.
You can get your own proof from Twitch...
Or you can play yourself.
And I don't owe you or anyone proof to have an opinion, which might be a fact.
You and that Hillbilly guy shouldn't be allowed on these discussions,it's obvious you're trolls.
You need proof to know someone is injured when the wound is visible, there are plenty more of these posts, and would be more if you weren't invalidating anyone's opinion.
And I highly doubt me giving you or the other guy any of my gameplay would solve anything.
At best you'll point out every survivor mistake ever,be either mine or my opponents.
And like I said, there's plenty of data on YouTube and Twitch...mostly on Twitch.

The strongest killer in the game cannot be the standard. A majority of players (most killer mains included) agree that this Nurse and Blight are overpowered. But these are only 2 out of 32 killers in this game.
Good luck achieving the same results with the other killers.
I already said which killers I play most and with which perform best.
-
@Xernoton said:
"Killers have it too easy." Wow. That is a hot take, if I've ever seen one. The 1 killer that has to sweat like their life depends on it and still barely competes in the game with 4 survivors that chill on gens and relax for the most part has it too easy. Killer is a much more stressful role than survivor is. And it has always been this way. You get no down time when you play killer. You are constantly on the clock and your mistakes matter a lot more.
"I let a lot of survivors escape because I feel pity for them." That explains a lot. Pretty much your entire post. DBD has a MMR system. Letting survivors go means you technically lose to them. Which artificially keeps your MMR low and in turn means you get to go against bad survivors.
If the devs played this game once in a month against a high level SWF the game would be dead. High level SWFs limit themselves in terms of perks, items, addons and offerings and still stomp killers without any restrictions. Survivors are way stronger than killers, if they play good enough. And at that point it doesn't matter how good the killer is because they still lose when survivors stop restricting themselves.
At the lowest level, the killer is way stronger than the survivors. If you want an explanation for that, feel free to ask and I'll go into detail. But the higher you go, the stronger survivors become and the weaker killers become in comparison.
What I take from your post is that you play at a pretty low level. Which is ok. No shame in that. But it does not represent the actual state of the game.

Can you record some matches so we can see what is happening in them? Would give us an idea. But the general problem here, still is, and always has been, matchmaking.
SWF cause an insane imbalance in the game that matchmaking has a hard time with. Devs also generally balance around a 60% kill rate. So in theory, if you played 50 games you should see around 80 escapes. They might not all be YOU, but that point still stands. I'm also guessing at least some of those games had a DC, or someone who intentionally gave up, afk'd, killed themselves on hook, etc. And those things probably aren't factored into the 60% kill rate.
Perhaps you play in a very aggressive way as survivor that makes it so you die, but your teammates escape? It is hard to say what it is without some kind of video of a typical game.
No.
I am far too lazy to do that!

What Killers do you play?
A lot of them.
I keep away from Nurse,Blight and Hag.
Blight makes me dizzy and sweaty and Hag's too 4D chess.
Nurse...I'm afraid I might learn her too much.
Since the anniversary,I've played mostly Wesker,Artist,Trickster and Nemesis...sprinkled with some Skull Merchant.
Out of all of these,Wesker is the strongest and easiest,Artist and SK bring me the same results while Trickster and Nemesis are build dependent, frustrating and clumsy to play.
They're not designed well at all!
-
Revert Billy in general...

@Xernoton said:
They are mostly chill. Because for them it's not super hard. It's just that it's a lot of fun for them to put the killer in situations where they are basically reduced to a rat trapped in a maze, frantically running around, not realising they can't escape. It's strength in numbers and the feeling of turning the tables. Talking about bully squads here, of course. Not every SWF is out to get you as killer. Some just want to play the game with their friends.
The best thing you can do as killer in those situations, is to stay calm (close your eyes, count to 10 and take a deep breath) and then stop playing nice. If they want to deny you any hooks, then don't hook them and let them bleed out for 4 minutes. If you see a chance to camp or tunnel someone to death, then do it. If they are trying to keep you hostage, do something else and let them tire themselves out. If you see 4 flashlights in a lobby and can't be bothered to play around them, then bring Lightborn. If they try bm you at every turn, focus on something else like using your killer's power around certain loops. If they find you still enjoying the game, then that means they failed. Most bully squads rely on their power to upset the killer to make mistakes. But if the killer stays calm, then they are much more likely to punish the survivors for playing reckless.
I'm not saying you should play like a jerk in every match but if your opponents want to make the game unfun for you, you are not obligated to play in a way that is fun for them either. You aren't exactly obligated to do that anyway but you get what I mean.
And if you get upset over a majority of your games, then it's best to take a break and see how you feel about it in a few days. I've been there too (like probably most people that play a lot of killer) and every once in a while I still take a break from playing. Coming back a week later with a fresh mind can really help you enjoy the game more.
I've taken breaks, and I come back to this beign more frequent and more nerve recking!
This isn't about beating them,it depends on what killer I bring...I can probably face them.
It's the effect it has on my mentality, and hopefully only mine, when I see 4 survivors in already lobby or with 2 flashlights or toolboxes etc.
It's not a good experience facing them, and I will avoid them at best as I can, because I know I'll end up a Nurse main once I'm pushed through!

He rounded... The probability of at least 1 success after 3 attempts at 4% per attempt is 11.5265%
1 - (1 - 0.04)^3 = 0.115264
You can't round RNG.
The 4% of 3 chances is 4% that you try 3 times.
If you have a 10% drop chance of an item killing an NPC,that doesn't mean you get an item at the 10th try.
RNG isn't calculations,it's RNG...

You have an 11.5% chance to unhook yourself. That's about a 1/9 chance. It's very obvious when a player is doing it deliberately to circumvent the DC penalty. This entitlement needs to go. If you queue up for a game, expect to play the game. If you don't like how fast you went down, play better. Don't punish your team for it. And if you do something that results in the team being unable to play, you should receive a penalty.
That's not how RNG works.
You have 4% chance to unhook yourself, and 3 tries.

Also we only went up like 10 000 players from our normal on steam.
I don't see how this makes you reach your conclusion either:
but it's the culmination of multiple unfair and bad nerfs to survivors that has left 50% of this game's content drier than the Sahara.
and on another quote:
Something drastic has to change, something that will be forged in the Killers' tears, a destructive nerf/nerfs to Blight and Nurse to light the path, for starter.
"something that will be forged in the Killers' tears"
Did the Clown Face-camp you or something? That's rather mean towards our Killer playerbase imo. Please chill.
I suggested nerfs to top killers, and a few small ones to other medium tier killers to even the odds in favour of survivors a tiny bit, once again...
As you know, survivor players are just leaving or playing very little compared to killers...
This issue will grow, until we have 5-15 minutes lobbies again.
Do you want 5 minutes in a lobby for a 3 minutes game?

Actually, people know how balanced Wesker is in general, which is why they are defending him. Pretty simple logic actually.
You are deluding yourself if you think killers like Wesker are the reason this game is dying slowly, which it really isn't. The game has actual problematic killer designs, and other problematic aspects, like tunneling and camping. Wesker isn't one of those problems.
Most people simply disagree with you, and think Wesker is balanced. You can accept that, or continue whining about it like a 12 year old. Nevertheless, there is a reason why the devs don't listen to people like you.
Good thing they've listened to all of the people in the forums and in the past.
Because we've only went a few steps forward since Clown's release before you guys started regressing.
The game's in a worse state than in 2020-2022.
Same problems are still here since late 2019.
Lack of diiversity in builds and playstyle for survivors,no new objectives or items, killers getting less original and overloaded, gen rushing is still the meta, tunneling and camping.
Maybe just maybe, instead of just assuming everyone that you agree with is right, maybe look just in how of a sad state DBD is and ask yourself..."Are we wrong?"

What do you find particularly egregious about him?
115ms,very thin hitbox, short of stature with freddy's lounge.
This should be more than enough to require some nerfs to him.
BUUUUT he also has 2 charges, that can help him vault or simply destroy loops.
His playstyle is just closing in the distance with Huntress and using his power or doing the Pyramid Head ability where they hold the power just enough to force you off a loop or close the distance for M1
And I don't think I've seen people praising Pyramid Head as beign a fun killer...
These 2 playstyles are just Artist playstyle, boring holding M1 or get wrekt by the killer,NOT HEALTHY OR ENGAGING AT ALL!
But there's more, unlike Boretist and BoreHead,he also can push you so off a loop into god knows where to freaking get a guarantee down.
And there's more!
You can't even pre drop pallets because he's just vaulting over and if you're not away enough,he'll hold his power as pyramid does until he gets a hit.
He's a slept in killer,he's Blight power, but the killers nowdays only know how to camp and tunnel so they won't find his tru3 potential, sad but happened before, though I don't know which killer was considered weak but was actually very strong...

I agree with you here.
Devs wanted boost kill rates. And they did. It almost imposible to even power gates lately. Killer dream is real now.
It's not only the killers beign OP lately or beign unfun.
It's a multitude of issues:
-Perks beign weak/not making a big difference as to enable playstyles
-No new gameplay mechanics...we still do generators 7 years later, even TCM and F13 had better and more interactive objectives.
-No new items, actually the works/nerfs unarguably made the items much worse, with only the flashlight beign better since the pickup animation buff in 2018 that made the flashlight near obsolete.
-Saboteur/Sabotage mechanic has been Thanos snapped,I know Trapper's a weak killer,as weak as killers get,but his traps beign immune to sabotage just made the perk, toolboxes and add-ons less appealing.
-Medkits.. the only item that were somewhat untouchable...the only item that was sacred and immune to the corruption as they only allowed 1-2 Self Care usage, have been nerfed..
Honestly the Medkit nefs felt like such a kick in between the legs,it felt like Developers were just listening, ignoring Survivors,to killers....as if they were under the killer's boot, listening to their every whim.

All this stuff is fine and dandy since it seems like the devs really want killers to go for 12 hooks but the game really isn't even nearly balanced enough for that. The only time you ever get a 10+ hook game is when you so obviously outclass the survivors that you shouldn't even be facing them to being with. Don't get me wrong I'm all for the chase but the current time to down/hook compared to the time to smash out gens is so far and away from being fair that it's just stupid and that's not even counting perks and items to speed things up.
But hey, I found other things to do and don't even hardly play this game anymore, I just stick around the forums hoping one day killer won't be absolutely miserable to play and even possibly have a small chance at beating a decent swf.
No,nerfs to camping will help out a lot and make survivors more playable.
There's counters to looping and generator flying.
@SpiritsHusk said:
At least I don't think so, either they will be changed, or removed or killers will receive buffs, now hear me out, I think the changes look good and are a great addition. However, I think percentages for kills for certain killers such as Bubba who lots of beginners use to camp will plummet as they cannot secure kills, Like I said, this could end up causing a rework for the camping nerfs or it may result in buffs for killers which are in deep need for them, or they could just completely ignore it and let it be.
What do you think?
No,if you don't like chases or looping or applying pressure and taking the easy way out just use slowdown perks and insidious and STBFL.
These changes will help survivor a lot,and for many it will make it playable again.
These changes will be fun.
There is counterplay to gen rushing, applying pressure is one of them.
Killers should patrol gen for pressure not hooks, applying pressure on gen jockeys is the way to go.
Oh and if you hadn't noticed,I mimicked your very low effort responses to my Tunneling post.
I guess from your complaints you use camping and tunneling a lot,but you try to hide this fact as "worrisome" for new Bubbas.
As if the last thing we want is to allow them to learn the value of Bubba camping.
In the future please avoid my posts, your killer bias radiates like the Sun's UV rays.

@[Deleted User] said:
- Sure but I don't think the delayed UI needs to be there.
- Maybe for the first 10 seconds or so to give the survivor some time to escape and hide but not the whole time until they are healthy again.
- 10 seconds yes, no to multiple stuns.
Sure let make it harder to tunnel. Thought lets not make it a free pass for the survivor either. I mean real tunnelling too. Not someone being on hook twice in a row but had time in between to heal up and work on gens, totems etc.
The DS stun and most of these changes would be reverted after 2 or 3 months,my thoughts.
It's a way to force Killers to relearn, and allow then to adapt to a world where tunneling doesn't work.

No, if you're that upset about tunneling run off the record + DS , these changes would make killer unplayable, it would not be a fun experience whatsoever.
Neither is tunneling someone!
And last time I check DS is turbo garbage while off the record is a character's perks,a character that I don't want..

What's incredible is that everything you've said is completely wrong.
If you think the nurse can't be countered, which you are, you can choose: 1) a beginner on DbD, 2) a hypocrite, 3) inexperienced on DbD.
I'm not even going to take the time to dismantle your arguments one by one, all you have to do is read up a little on expert nurses VS expert survivors to get an idea.
At worst, if you want to convince us that the nurse is too strong, feel free to record the games you play against her, and we'll see what happens.
And what would me recording dying to Nurse achieve?
What could I possibly do to stop her,or convince you that she's not good for the game?!
At best, your advise would be for me to "git gud" , it's a waste of time!
You're INFAMOUS for asking "proof" while beign stubborn on every level.
One guy can tell you the banana is yellow, you'd still argue it's a bright green.
And what would I even show my footage of?
Break LoS? Maybe once or twice...
Loop her? Come on..
Or would you like me to urban evasion all the map?
While calling it countering..

Whether or not you like this or that killer, that's your most legitimate right, of course.
But you have to stop being hypocritical.
Even before the nurse loses her range and recharge addons, she could be in trouble if the opposing team was organized and competent.
From that point on, you have to stop kidding yourself.
Disliking a killer is not automatically linked to the relevance of his presence in DbD.
Strangely enough, the survivors who manage to counter the nurse are never seen complaining about her... it's strange...
Strangely enough,is that you think she's counterable, she's not.
And it is not strange for good survivors who "counter" to not complain, because they simply don't exist.
Nurse is not counterable, unarguable point made here, stating facts Nurse =/= counterable.
The ability to break LoS and hope she loses you, isn't a counter,a counter would mean complete win of chase, what you do is simply extend the chase by a few seconds.
Maybe it works 1 time or 2,you'll,however,still go down.
If it's impossible to win a chase and hide/lose the killer, then that killer is badly designed.
The reason why she doesn't get properly nerfed,is because she's the scapegoat of BHVR,so the game's not "TRUE P2W",even though it kinda is,with how powerful some license killers have been, meanwhile we get Merchant and Knight..

Camping and Tunneling are bad when beign unnecessary, like when a Survivor looped good and hurt the ego of a killer.
I think nobody will agree that one shouldn't camp or tunnel,if the survivors are too altruistic,or gens have been done too fast and the killer needs some pressure.
Generally,I play as nice as possible as long as I'm winning/standing good.
My quota usually dictates this,2 hooks = 1 gen.
Should I fall behind that quota,I will tunnel and camp if necessary.
Oh and, don't expect mercy if you TBAG or try to humiliate me.
I will reduce my killer to M1 drone and throw the game just to punish you!

I'm not playing Killer on that map,it's like Haddonfield but for survivors.
If I get that map on a killer,I'm probably quitting or AFK in the corner,or playing really scummy like camping and giga tunneling.
If I'm not having a good game, neither are you!
Suffer for your crimes!
