Pallets were stealth nerfed and they are definitely unresponsive now. I think a developer on twitter mentioned they were "reworking a minor system" in order to increase everyone's frames by a few frames. Whether this was intentional or not, who knows, but by track record, usually survivors are on the losing end of any bug.
EDIT: I have been noticing this a lot more now more than ever. It has become such an issue to where I logged on the forums to search for a confirmed bug. There is a massive delay it seems regarding pallets. PING is not an issue, this is a valid problem that was never present prior.
