it does. when i first noticed it i knew it was just a switch/console thing because pc players haven't brought it up. have you tested it on other consoles?
i am on pc. and the problem is here too.
-
same happening to me. i cant even hook survivors half the time. also, my screen stutters and i can't even keep a chase.
-
Yeah, it would be nice to do something with the items/addons we don't use.
-
All i am going to say is the tome and grinding for the rift has made this game unfun for me to play and I dont plan on doing it anymore after this one. And it's not because I can't play every day, cause I can and have actually earned all 70 levels of the rift for the past 3 tomes. I just flatout don't enjoy it. An easier grind would be fine(especially with how some of these challenges are), but whatever. I know DBD isn't going to budge on this matter.
-
Anything that involves me having to survive as survivor or play a killer I can't play; these dailies I always skip.
-
Exact same problems here. I did this and now I can play again. I cleared my download cache in steam settings.
-
Killer main because it's easier to rely only on yourself rather than others.
-
I will admit with the current schedule of the new chapters being released, the feel has been suffocating. I personally would like it if the new chapters were more spread apart at least if anything.

ooh, yes I have done this many times with those two perks. one time during the egc, i had two survivors headon roulette me as huntress(i was trying to reload). So, one headons me, becomes rancor, gets caught and morid. i attempt to reload hatchets again, i get headoned again, i catch them before they get to gate, and mori them. idk if they fully understood the perk setup or not, but they were definitely not happy about it in the end game chat lol.
And another time, I had something very interesting happen with a 4 person swf. they were aware I was using those two perks. so, during the egc, one of them asks to stun me so they could become rancor and stayed to get morid. was so sweet of them. <3

This idea would never be implemented, but i'd love to see it happen for the lols. But anyways, reasons survivors want to stand in the exit gates vary. Usually they either just want be toxic little brats, or they are generous human beings that want you to have a few extra hit points. Sometimes though, i do feel like they over stay their welcome and I would LOVE for something else to shove them out of the door far quicker than the EGC does.
Oh yes, and if anyone wants to know why not do it myself, i am just gonna say because reasons. One reason being that chasing them out benefits their emblems and points. And if all they have done is bully me, I am not going to "feed" them anymore(it's probably maxed already anyways by then for them).
-
Well, what would you want exactly to change for killers?
-
Most boring change? I'll list a few. The rift and the death of in game events; the killer emblem system; the change to killer adept achievements(although this is actually stressful than it is boring) I think that's it.
-
yes, and u can use that broken wall to run and sabo a hook in two seconds lol.

Same for console, except a lot less killers on console, so if you’re a high rank survivor, you’ll be waiting 20+ minutes for a game just for them to dodge you (if you piss them off, they can recognize you since there are so few players on console in general).
That sucks.
-
i play better when I run perks that don't give me any extra escapes.
-
What she really needs is better score events. she is so starved for points with her power.
-
I have switched mains through the years. Started as Trapper, then Hag, then Pig, and then almost Legion. Legion's nerfs were too much for me so, I went back to Pig. My reason for maining any killer is how much fun I can get out of them win or lose.
-
i like the idea. too bad scott doesn't work for bhvr.
-
Yeah, you are not alone with this feeling nor the first to bring this up. Dbd could die and it would be sad. I love this game too and would hate to see it happen.
-
No, not necessarily kill related. That was already tested with the victory cube and it wasn't good which is why it was abolished. On top that, killers are expected to only have a 50% kill rate in any match. So, maybe it could be interaction based for killers to determine their rank with less emphasis on the kills; more rewarded for being active in the game vs kills(cause any killer can camp and possibly 4k). You wouldn't have to care about swf's with this. In fact you might even welcome it cause they are less likely to spend their time hiding and more time confronting you in turn giving you an easier pip. The current emblem system is already close to this idea. But it feels overly demanding for killers at least in the upper ranks.
-
My only thing about killer is that even when you play well, you are not consistently rewarded for doing so emblem wise. I mean, if potato survivors can be permitted to rank up, then why can't it be the same for killers? Rank after all in this game is and should only ever be a statement that you play the game often. That whole mindset of rank equaling skill in this game needs to die. Furthermore, if the current system has taught us anything lately, it's that if you make ranking up barely challenging for one side while making it excessively challenging for the other, the que times will forever be horrible for one side which will leave us with the matchmaking always giving players others not in their rank.
-
The mori is the best part of this game to me. I would definitely love a mori perk that was fair and wasn't a totem or end game thing.
-
It's really interesting about NOED. Survivors have been asking to get a totem counter in the UI for a while so they can see if totems are still standing when solo qued. And if I recall right, when the devs talked about it in a stream a while back, it isn't a great priority to them.

Those achievements don't exist on console...
Didnt know that. Wish it was that way for PC. Cause high rank on PC just sucks as killer thus getting the achievement for it.
-
Moris tend to punish killers rank wise cause it doesn't count as a sacrifice(for obvious reasons). So, there is little incentive to use it.
-
After I got my rank 1 achivement as killer, I stopped trying to kill the optimal survivors. Killing them just isnt fun and aint worth the sweat in my opinion. I let them finish their gens in peace, open the gate for them, and move on to the next match.
-
My answers;
Gen speed at high ranks = too fast
Gen speed at low rank = too long
Gen speed in the mid ranks = usually leveled out but can go quick
Also, a lil tidbit Ill add; It sucks being a high rank survior waiting forever to get a short match cause everyone is doing gens and the killer isnt a spirit or because everyone wanted to farm the same hook and are all downed in 2 minutes. I play killer mostly cause of this. I mean sure, I get those super quick matches that end in 5 minutes and my anxiety flung through the roof when I get swf's all running headon. But, at least I don't have to wait forever for the next match.
