I was talking about ruin and bbq. And the mori makes it a 3v1 which tilts the scales back to about even. If your that worried about facing survivors with all meta perks. Run mera perks yourself.

I know, I was too. Even if I did trade out Sloppy and Remember Me for Nurse's and/or PGTW or something, it wouldn't really matter. Killers can run all meta perks and they're helpless against an all-meta 4-man SWF, especially now that they've nerfed Nurse -- the only killer that was able to compete against SWF -- into the ground.

Even if they were running all meta perks, I could probably win if they were solo players. But it's the fact that they were clearly an SWF group on voice comms (which is basically cheating) which frees up perk slots that would usually be occupied by situational awareness perks like Bond or Empathy and opens up a whole new world of meta that's not otherwise possible.

I didn't lose to their perks, I lost because they were SWF. The ultimate tryhard meta perk builds were just the cherry on top of the $%#& sundae.

    Complains about moonwalking??

You're nurse with good add ons and a mori, and meta perks too. What is going on in this post.

Yeah, and I still got my ass kicked because there's nothing killers can do against SWF. Voice comms break the game.

To be fair.. your scored the most points... and idk if you popped or not.. but you had some meta perks and a mori.. so I feel like it should've been even. You could've just moried whoever was getting on your nerves since you said they were on death hook.

I used two meta perks (although Ruin is more of a required perk since not running it all but guarantees a brutal killer or worse result) and Sloppy Butcher, which is a great perk but I wouldn't call it meta on its own. Remember Me is decent and it was used only to guarantee an obsession. How does that equate to their entire team running the same tryhard build with the same meta perks with only one person having two different perks, that are also both meta...

    How is moonwalking disrespectful? Hello?

If you have the time to get yourself into a moonwalk after I hit you then you clearly don't think I'm good enough to catch you. That's the most blatant disrespect I saw in the whole game. It's why I used my Mori on the Claudette doing it instead of someone else. That and she was my obsession.

Other disrespectful things included ignoring my presence and continuing to search a chest even after I hit him, moonwalking out the exit gate, and of course the ever so constant buttdancing.

Honestly, you coming here and whining about it on the forums is super cringe.

    Mmkay.

  • @konchok said:

Why post one game where you lost against an swf that are 6 ranks above you. All that you proved was that this (what I assume is a 3 man swf) have decided to run the exact same build.

I have 1200 hours and that speaks more than rank. I've been Rank 1 before several times and I just really don't care about a number that's basically meaningless once it goes below 9. I didn't even do that badly in this game and most of them were on death hook.

They just had no respect for killer at all.

  • My experience with dedicated servers has been an absolute tragedy. I will admit that 95% of the time, I do not notice any difference, but the 5% I do notice differences are the times when it matters the most.

    • Dead Hard has been indirectly nerfed to the ground, which is ironic since that's where I spend most of the game I run it, coupled with exhaustion of course.
    • Hit boxes are completely ridiculous for killers sometimes. I've been hit through windows that I'm not even near. I've been hit by Huntress hatchets after I've completely rounded corners. I've completely 360'd a killer and have still been hit by their swing. I've been hit while the killer is visibly facing the other direction.
    • I've been picked up off gens by a Ghostface that was 12+ meters away and then suddenly on top of me. Also have been grabbed while unhooking by killers that I couldn't even see.
    • On killer side, playing Myers is no longer fun as his power is broken by the increased latency and I can no longer 99% his stalk meter.
    • The frame stuttering after Nurse blinks has given me some serious headaches. I can't play her anymore without taking a migraine relief.

Please remove these servers as soon as possible. Keep them on the PTB until they're performing equivalent to the old P2P connectivity.

  • The way to fix the Hallowed Blight was simple in my opinion. Increase the number of baseline visceral cankers to four and cankers per offering to two, increase extraction speed slightly, and allow survivors to acquire 1-2 extra vials of serum. If a survivor dies on hook, he or she would lose a whole vial of serum. Incentivizes survivors to stay alive while not totally screwing them over if they do die. Killers also could benefits from extra vials and a significant boost to the amount gained from hooking -- getting my vials as Killer was a hell of a lot more tedious than as Survivor.

But then why use the moris today as well? They also take several seconds so your argument doesn't really work

Because this idea would be adding time. Killing someone with a mori is faster than taking them to a hook and watching the death animation (not to mention the survivor probably has to go through struggle phase as well), if Survivors have a chance to escape then every reason to use the Mori goes out the window. You're adding time to the kill, not reducing it.

  • Yes, you'll be totally fine if all files transfer properly. Probably the worst thing that will happen is that you corrupt some files in the transfer and need to verify and redownload them through steam.

The question is this: How do you get bodyblocked to get puked on and get 1 shot in the first place?

That being said, Idk, I usually just say GG and move on. Seems like they were new and didn't really know. You seem to have come off very hostile from the get go.

Well yeah, it was meant to be a harsh lesson. I'm definitely an a-hole and it's not like I'm their friend or anything.

  • Met another toxic guy today who tried to explain that telling me to kill myself was "just a meme".

    Suicide is not a joke.png

  • The only thing I like his your rough backstory, his M1 being a transforming wand, and his mori. Everything else is garbage.

Power is way too convoluted and has overpowered tiers. Needs a complete rework.

    Perks are ridiculously OP.

3 Card Monte: So... a better Overcharge but without the notification?

Trapped Door: Survivors suffering a penalty they can't track for using their primary defense in a chase? This perk would instantly become meta because of how good it is. It could actually make Freddy the best killer in the game.

The Ambitious Card: Infinite NOED opportunity seems like it would be a massive tumor on the endgame. What about Haunted Ground or Ruin? Not only does completely negate Thrill of the Hunt as a viable perk, but the entire point of Hex Perks is for them to be super powerful, but removable. Making them unremovable means that people will run nothing but Hex Perks.

Why do we only see part of the end game chat?🤔

Cause they left afterwards and the rest was just me and green being cool dudes talking about Game of Thrones and #########.

  • Plague recently because she's new, but it's a better question to ask what I don't main.

Spirit, Trapper, Wraith, Freddy, Cannibal, Pig. I hate them, they're bad/I'm bad with them, and they're just plain not fun or rewarding in the case of the Cannibal.

All the others I play pretty evenly. Myers is definitely my favorite though.

  • This is a half decent idea but it doesn't go far enough and it doesn't fit the lore or make Freddy that interesting of a Killer. Let me give my spin on it.

Freddy is still always in the Dream world. Freddy can pull survivors into the Dream World, but rather than a simple right click triggering a countdown, it would require a channel to increase a survivor's sleepiness. While under the effect of the channel, the foggy white outline would appear on the survivor.

There are five stages of sleepiness, with the last one fully pulling you into the Dream World and exposing you to the true horror that is Freddy Krueger

    • Stage 1 - 1 Second
A Survivor in this stage heals, repairs, and sabotages with a 15% reduction in speed. Freddy cannot hit Survivors in Stage 1. Survivors cannot see Freddy while in Stage 1. After 30 seconds, the Survivor will fall out of Stage 1. Missing a Skill Check will instantly Wake Up a Survivor. The Survivor's aura is not revealed to Freddy outside of his Terror Radius.

    • Stage 2 - 4 Seconds
A Survivor in this stage heals, repairs, and sabotages with a 25% reduction in speed. Freddy cannot hit the Survivor. Survivors see periodic glimpses of Freddy while within his Terror Radius. After 30 seconds, the Survivor will fall out of Stage 2 into Stage 1. Missing a Skill Check will also have this effect. The Survivor's aura is not revealed to Freddy outside of his Terror Radius.

    • Stage 3 - 7 Seconds
A Survivor in this stage heals, repairs, and sabotages with a 50% reduction in speed. Freddy is now fully visible with a normal heartbeat Terror Radius and can hit the Survivor. Hooking a survivor in Stage 3 will regress them to Stage 2. Other Survivors can Wake Up Survivors in Stage 3, causing them to regress 2 levels to Stage 1. Missing a Skill Check will also have this effect. The Survivor's aura is revealed to Freddy outside of his Terror Radius.

    • Stage 4 - 10 Seconds
A Survivor in this stage heals, repairs, and sabotages with a 50% reduction in speed and suffers moderately from the Hindered status effect. Hooking a Survivor in Stage 4 will cause them to regress to Stage 3. Other Survivors can Wake Up Survivors in Stage 4, causing them to regress 2 levels to Stage 2. Missing a Skill Check will also have this effect. The Survivor's aura is revealed to Freddy outside of his Terror Radius.

    • Stage R.E.M. - 13 Seconds
A Survivor in this stage is fully asleep and cannot perform any actions, suffers moderately from the Hindered status effect, and cannot fast vault through windows or pallets. Hooking a Survivor in Stage R.E.M. will cause them to regress to Stage 4. The Survivor's aura is revealed to Freddy outside of his Terror Radius. A Survivor can only be removed from the R.E.M. state by another Survivor using the Wake Up action, causing them to regress to Stage 4.

Only one Survivor can be in the R.E.M. state at a time.

I should note that these channel times are additive. If Freddy channels on a survivor for 5 seconds and puts them into Stage 2, it will only take an additional 2 seconds (total of 7) of channeling to put them in Stage 3. If they fall back into Stage 1, it would only take 3 seconds to put them into Stage 2, not 4 (which is the total).

  • I think that they should take some part of these "Visceral Cankers" that survivors drain the juice out of and put them on half (4 or 5) of the generators so that the generators have to be "cleaned off" before being repaired. I think it's a good way to slow down gen progression.

  • I think that they should take some part of these "Visceral Cankers" that survivors drain the juice out of and put them on the generators so that the generators have to be "cleaned off" before being repaired. No idea what killer would do in return though.

  • @Crabdawg said:
It always makes me laugh when people say that as if Insidious doesn't exist.

I mentioned insidious. It's a weak and boring perk, in my opinion, but if some people want to use it and Leatherface basement camp then I say let them. People are constantly trying to dictate how others play, and I'm just sick of everyone bitching and moaning that I didn't play the way I wanted them to just so they could get free unhooks and easy escapes.

    @rollerskate said:
you know how when you drop a 100% bp offering as killer, but you aren't able to use it because the survivors use scummy tactics to escape quickly & you aren't able to get many points at all?

No, I don't know that feeling, because I don't give a ######### about amassing points. I care about killing survivors. Even so, if you take away the offering aspect your argument becomes nonexistent.

  • @Dragonredking said:
I don't understand the link your making with ragequitting/dc and swf.

I've had SWF groups that BM me all game long and then when they finally get their due, they simply ragequit to avoid me getting my BBQ stacks or hook points or whatever. I've also had people leave the game to open the hatch for their friends. Not suicide on the hook, but simply leave the game because their friend is ready to escape and they know I can't reach the hatch in time.

Either way, even if they were somehow unrelated, then the point is that this is meant to be a punishment for bad behaviors. Play the game and don't be a chickenshit when things don't go your way every time.

  • @Dustin said:
While I like the idea the main issue with this is wouldn't it just be easy (Although time consuming) to just queue until you eventually get the same game as your friend(s)?

That's certainly a possibility, so BHVR could always prevent leavers from backing out of a lobby once they've joined it.

  • It depends on how I'm feeling, but I generally prefer Myers as he just feels so fun and is actually capable of being one of the best killers if you give him good enough addons.

If I'm playing solely to win, I'll head over to Nurse or Billy.

If I'm salty, I'll jump on Doctor and be a huge #########.

If I feel like having fun, I'll throw a Pig, Trapper, or even a Freddy game in there.

I don't play Hag or Wraith, and my Clown and Huntress don't have good enough perks to play them reliably yet.
