I really like the idea, although it would be more interesting if she actually used ultrasound to detect survivors in bat form.

If using ultrasound to detect survivors can be implemented to the game, why not :D Nice idea, it would make it quite realistic cause that's just the way bats make out the territory they're in etc :)

  • Like I said, it wouldn't work with that. I don't think that it's good to implement perks which replace other perks completely.

The Hex could maybe work like that: The obsession is 5/10/15% faster cleansing totems(no matter if it's a hex totem or not). But after cleansing one the obsession is is in the exposed status for 20/25/30 seconds. After you hit the exposed obsession, another survivor becomes your obsession.

Blood filled rage: You want to see death. after hooking survivors 4/3/2 times the perk activates once you down a survivor all survivors auras are revealed for 4/6/8 seconds and for 15/20/25sec each survivor you hit gets broken status effect for 20/25/30sec

Strikedown: You have a hatred of your obsession. after hitting survivors 4/3/2 times the perk activates. You and your new obsession see each-others auras for 20 and you can Mori them if you down them within 25/30/35sec

Hex:No way out: you still persist even when the objectives are powered. when the exit gates are powered a dull totem becomes a hex when the endgame collapse starts the aura of the totem is revealed but is cleansed 20/25/30% slower and the exit gates are blocked for 50/55/60sec unless it is cleansed at which it ends early

    Let me know your thoughts

Tell me if I need to change something

That are indeed some nice ideas. I don't really think that the Hex will be used in that way(it's kinda a mix of Thrill of the hunt, just without the extrapoints & Bloodwarden), but it is a good idea to start with :) Some new Endgame-Hex/-Perks besides NOED would be nice indeed so we can try new Endgame-Builds :D

Main thing that isn't really fun is 4 man swfs with 4 decisives and the crutchiest of perks. Not much you can do when they find your ruin 3 seconds into the game and by the time you finished running a marathon with the first guy you chase, two gens pop and then you get with a decisive. Seriously frustrating but it's not really bannable. If you realize they're organized during the game and you're not playing nurse then you might as well just dc. The only way to fix this and balance the entire game is extending survivor objectives. Not healing nerfs, not vaulting nerfs, not a faster hooking animation, simply more objectives. Imagine 2 out of 10 gens pop by the time you down the first guy, it won't be as hurtful as 2 out of 5 and you'll still have a chance.

I do like your idea & way of thinking :D More objectives means more points too. And even if survivors can escape, a killer has often more points, if it's a good killer. So i can't complain about more objectives and getting points for finish them. It's an idea which can be worked on :chuffed:

  • It would be really nice if killers and survivors could communicate before & during a match anyway. Especially when events are running or you just wanna get your ritual done. Because all have kinda the same goals in the game besides winning. Goals like getting all achievements, get the special event stuff and all that. There are so many moments where I think: "Can't we just do our stuff together and have fun?" But missing communication says "No".

  • "It's a strategy" "It's a game mechanic" I did know that some people would come with this arguments. Doesn't mean it isn't toxic or unfair or whatever. At lot depends on why people do this.

For example: If I camp someone just because he/she stunned me with a palette to save someone while I was carrying the survivor to the hook it would be unfair. It was my fault to take that way through the palette so why should I blame someone else? I'm the one who has to live with the consequence and it would be an b****y move to camp that person just because he/she did something right. That's what I think is toxic/unfair. Well, maybe I should have defined in a better way what I mean xD

What I mean is: most of these things ensures that someones getting mad. But it seems that some people forget that a game is meant to be fun. And not for getting mad. People play because they want to have a nice time and forget about a stressful day at work or else. And that doesn't work if people just get mad because of some guys who thinks they're cool with an unfair style to play.

And like I said at the point about bodyblocking: It's less points for the killer(because then a killer gets no points for a chase) and no fun for the others. Same about camping, if the others can escape while a killer camps one of four possible victims. So why use a strategy that ensures getting less points? That isn't the goal of this game. Goal is either escaping or killing your opponents(and getting as many points as possible), depending on which side you play. Of course if there are some guys who ignore that and make faults while they try to rescue so the killer can get them - that's ok, strategy worked out, goal achieved, end of the story, next match please xD

@Zanfer Yes it is really subjective, I agree with you about that. What exactly do you think is toxic? I would be interested in your opinion about that. :chuffed:

@Incarnate I like your way of thinking :chuffed: You seem to understand what I mean. :chuffed:

  • Well killers are allowed to tunnel and camp survivors. So it's just fair that survivors can do some bodyblocking in that case to avoid that their mates get hooked. This actually just works if the mates are nearby. And if that's the case you still have the option to strike them down. If they don't want be hit twice they'll have to go and the hook is free :)

  • I love to creep people of with Pggie-pig Amanda. The survivors are running away like chicken without head xD
If I could play good with Myers he would be another favourite quarreling with Amanda about the first place in my rating xD

  • Wraith _ Ding Dong Ding Dong am I visible or not ? ;) :P

  • Well I suppose we should use this dicussion to gather some ideas for one-shoting Pig and then try it out on PTB before. There we can try it out without people complaining too much or disturbing anyone in his/her progress in the regular game.

  • Thanks for that fast answer :) Well yes Amanda's letter is really overpowered in this way. Nice of you to think about the survivors in that case :)
