Soooooo... after reading SOME of these walls of text, I'd say some of you are just projecting your personal experience (and that's valid since that's the only accurate source of info you guys can base your argument on). I just have to point that out cause we have to see that other people might experience DBD very differently.
And to respond to OP, you're not against removing ranks. You should be for the current skill-based system. You just want to know how each player is tiered on that skill-based system (and I agree). So instead of saying 'SO RANKS DON'T MATTER HUH???', couldn't you have just said 'so why not show the skill level of each player'? Unless you think ranks are more reflective of skill level but you seem to also see that ranks are mostly based on playtime.

I'm not gonna pretend that I know Japanese, but that's only 5 characters. That's inconsistent with the English version's 7
To save y'all's time, that's also 'A' in Japanese (I don't know Japanese, just googled it). I suppose if we go with the theory of the 7 A's being 7 letters to guess, the word to guess in Japanese just has 5 characters.

Which amazing community exactly? I would really love to check that out.

It seems to be him O.O

I think it's bannable.
Botting
Killer spawns and stays at one place, hitting air the whole time. He doesn’t move or change the hit pattern even if gates are opened and some of the Survivors are already gone. Video of the match (showing the tally screen is crucial) is mandatory. If this is bannable (a permanant ban), then going completely AFK might be more likely to get banned.

I think it's just temporary so I don't really mind. However, what I wished for was Kate's playing an acoustic version of it.

Most of those maps pretty much are not liked by most people, e.g. the notorious swamp, and the hospital. The Game is not so popular either. The asylum, and Badham are quite survivor-sided in my opinion.
I wouldn't like the change if it were to come.

i haven't noticed anything different personallyMe too, but I've only played one or two games.

The Clown also probably behaves this way, i havent seen gameplay of him, trying to keep surprises lmao
No, he can cancel his charge.
Also, the Nurse has unlimited blinks, while the Huntress and the Clown have to reload them. Plus, the ways teleportation and projectiles work in a game are quite different. I don't think we can compare the two mechanics in this way. -
No, there isn't an easy way. I'm not sure if VPN will work though.

What would other killers' music be like though? They don't really have a clear musical theme.

The devs first said that the Shrine will be down from 12-29 June, and later said that it will be down upon the release of the patch.
That could mean the 12th is the release date.

What if a new perk was to double Iridescent Shards? The Shards come from your account level, a perk can't change anything about that. Unless it's like increasing the XP, but not directly the shards.

Link here.
'It is possible for the procedural map generation to spawn the wrong tile on a single game client (causing a desync between the client and the server).' -
They already mentioned it in PTB critical issues post.

I just think that now isn't the best time for another game mode. There aren't many players out there. Matchmaking would be a disaster.
I'd love two different game modes too if there weren't these problems. Maybe one for casual, and one for rank (no SWF).

What is actually the pick up or hooking vacuum though? Is it about not being able to pallet stun and get a survivor off the killer's shoulder?
-
I think we're sure both will happen in a schedule (maybe not exactly starting at the same time, but close enough) such that there will be like a DBD hype period of time when the no of players can be pushed as much as it can.
But we don't really know about the double bloodpoint thingy. I think it was mentioned that it would disrupt the economy in game (at least for the 3X one that happened a long time ago), so they'll think carefully about it or something like that. I don't remember them saying exactly that it won't happen though.
-
Again, the devs want to do it but they don't know how.
Plus, putting new contents in the PTB will improve the game for everyone, including the console players. So why not? -
But the skillcheck was not supposed to be a skillcheck. The devs intended it to be a button but just hadn't made that yet when they showed us the change.RagingCalm said:I came up with a similar but more complex idea a couple of weeks ago
The skill check size will be the way it was in the PTB, but only when 0 generators are complete. For every generator complete, about 13% of the skill check gets removed. when all 5 generators are powered, there is only about 35% of the huge skill check left. A very important thing, however: Only the end portion of the skill check stays. After this change, when the gates are open the survivor can possibly still get out, but the killer also has hope because he can do extra long dribbles without the chance of a survivor getting an early skill check and escaping.
This change will also stop SWF on comms from being able to get the last gen at 99%, and wait until the downed survivor has been picked up to pop the gen. -
I'd love to have something at the end of the game that shows you resources on the map. And like how the game went. I think Evolve had this thing.
Also a recent games record would be good
