Aya Brea from Parasite Eve / The 3rd Birthday
On the previous survey about wanted licenses, the series Parasite Eve showed up. There are a few reoccuring characters in the series but it entirely revolves around Aya Brea:
1st/2nd/3rd game in order^
The reason Parasite eve 3 is called The 3rd Birthday, is due to the first 2 games being based off a book called Parasite Eve. The contract with that license seemed to expire at some point and they could not use the name anymore. But they do still own all the characters and could easily keep making the games if they wanted to. But 3rd birthday being an exclusive to psp/psvita, and noone knowing it was a Parasite Eve game, the sales were still quite high. I honestly don't know what title they could use for a new game besides maybe the 4th birthday lol.
As a collab it will definitely not be able to be called Parasite Eve x dbd, but probably the 3rd birthday x dbd.
As far as I know the series is still owned by Square Enix.
A collab chapter could be either a survivor only chapter or survivor/killer chapter as there are lots of monsters to choose from.
As for how popular the collab would be, it was a loved series in its prime like Silent hill, which would have been just as forgotten by now if it hadn't arrived to dbd and saw enough popularity that konomi decided to revive the franchise. Same with Castlevania. I'm not saying bringing a dead series to dbd gives it a chance to come back to life, but its a way for the owners of the franchise to see there is still love for the series out there and might give them something to think about, and bringing characters back from dead series seems to be something dbd has a unique way of doing.

The start to 2 on PS1 was amazing. They used pre rendered backgrounds but with a video playing while you moved to the hotel.
I just started playing through them again, just finnished 1 and started on 2. First one also had an interesting way of choosing which location you wanted to go with a fully revolving 3d city zooming in on each building lol some cutscenes showing you driving between places.
It was a real suprise seeing it on the survey Alongside Dino Crisis
I'm okay with og Parasite Eve, but no one wants 3rd birthday Aya, it's not even the same Aya lmao
I've felt the same way about Lara Croft lol I miss the original Lara, not very interested in survival Lara. (The irony that it also came from square enix)
But yea my favorite look for Aya was in Parasite eve 2. 3rd birthday seems more like a final fantasy character. But i'd be happy to get her at all lol
Sorry I mean literally story wise it's not Aya, 1 and 2 is Aya. So technically you'd be asking for a different character for 3rd birthday
Lara is now all of her mainline games coz of Unified timeline, I'm hopeful they take the classic outfits from Legacy of Atlantis, we don't need any more survivor outfits I agree.
Perhaps Eve Brea would fit as a legendary then? Though we alredy have clone ripley as well
Yeah, maybe, even as an outfit it would work honestly, I really want Aya and Eve as a chapter
Aside from clone ripley we also have Alessa and DSO agent. So i can see eve being just a seperate purple rarity skin.
