Denuvo Anti Cheat Trial make me can't enter the game
i already experience this twice, the first one i can fix it by removing denuvo and re-install it, but the second (is today) the three ways that were told did not work, this is annoying because the moment is where i have to chase 2v8 content

The timing couldn't be better. New chapter, Rift coming to an end, and 2v8. Perfect time to ######### with Steam players.
Well, at least you dont have to suffer rhrough 15 min queue times because the devs refuse to acknowledge 2v8 queue times issues.

It does it does. Except sometimes i simply want to play killer, what do i do in that case?
we have acknowledged the issues with queue times and we are pretty stuck when it comes to allieviating these, which is why PWYW was implemented.
Sorry, i'm going to reiterate my statement.
The devs refuse to take appropriate action regarding the queue times. PWYW is not an appropriate action. It is a bandaid. A very good one, to be fair, but it's not feasable to just herd players into playing survivor for three weeks a few times a year.
There have been ideas to implement 2v8 as a permanent gamemode for example. Or trying a different mode, that balances out the sides like 5v5. Just not another three weeks of playing two survivor matches between each killer match if i just wanna play killer during an evening.
I'm sure there's some Steam users that would like to play and increase those player counts a little. Too bad we are being used as guinea pigs.

But why are you forcing players to play 2v8 survivor (there are two survivor quests that can only be done in 2v8) if you acknowledge the issue with queue times? Forcing at least 10 2v8 matches (in the end it is much more) makes the normal qtime worse.
Those quests are optional, you can get the quest completion rewards playing only killer. There are also killer exclusive ones so it should balance out.
I'd play way more 2v8 if I had a head on class and a Scene partner class lol
I really really like the class items and the ritual circle this update, also oni exists as a good deterrent for survivor players rn lol

Like i mentioned, attempting to establish 2v8 as a permanent mode could remove the hype from the three weeks it's on everytime.
Also, simply creating a new 5v5 mode could water down the pool of event modes and it may be even more popular than 2v8.
Just some ideas to tackle the issue in a better way.

I don't know about that. If 2v8 became permanent, then the hype will fade, and then people will be less likely to play it after a while. And that would result in even longer queue times.
Maybe you are correct, maybe the playerbase will stabilize and the queue time of 1v4 will be impacted minimally. It's worth a try instead of greatly worsening 1v4 queue times for a few months a year.
Not reinstalling the game until anti cheat trial is done so I am trusting one of you to make a thread when that time comes 🙏
idk i will make a new thread or not if the trial already done, until now, i can't into the game, hope the dev wanna listen us and stop the trial soon enough
