So...we're buffing Judgement and nerfing Knight?

KC1011.png

Why? No, seriously, for what reason? Judgement is already shaking out to be a rather strong killer even with the zealous control value at 0.3 seconds, and Knight is barely in the bottom of B- if you're being charitable. Neither of these changes are coming with compensation nerfs or buffs to account for this, either, so, again…why?

  • The guards always behaved like this to my knowledge I might be schizophrenic though who knows.

My bad if thats the normal interaction (I don't see many knights being quite honest with you) but if its all well and normal why is it in the update section alongside another killer getting a straight buff? Not doubting you, its just weird they'd put it there.

  • Whooooa an increase of 0.3 seconds, steady on now, these killer buffs are getting outta hand.

Honestly dunno why they felt the need to kneecap the Knight further though… guy just doesn't deserve it.

Also to whoever you are above me, Vigil still viable it just isn't completely broken now for 0 effort.

  • Calling them buffs and nerfs can oversimplify the intention behind today's changes. For example, the curve allows for more skill expression without it being a dramatic change.

The Knight change allows for the Guards to phase through a pallet whilst dropped on them, or return the Guard power to the Knight if the pathing around a pallet is greater than 48m. This is a compromise between the phasing and how the power previously would leave the Knight without a power whilst a Guard followed a long path around a dropped pallet.

    Appreciate the explanation 👍

Thank you for stepping in to give some explicit reasoning behind the changes.

Yeah you could predrop pallets to make guards have a super long path, and stunning guards would just get you injured iirc. I think this change is to stop the Knight player from thinking the guard has a chance of hitting a survivor, instead they just return to the Knight which is pretty nice.

Apparently I was wrong, according to another post this used to be a bug. (Which is what I was referring to) Then they fixed the bug, and added it back this patch.
