All I want for Christmas is a 4.6 hag
i love little hagatha but my word is she tough to play against survs who have played against hag before. my solution to pallets is blood warden which works well and ruin for a bit of gen slowdown and im decent with trapping and playing an area and not overcommitting to chases but what am i supposed to do against the W key?
They Just pre run constantly and they will try and pull you to dead zones which i can only afford if i think i can get a quick down but those areas are going to have all the pallets.
I would even take a 4.5 hag. I just feel she needs some slight boost of speed because she feels balanced against people who arent too familiar with her but those who are and if they are decent players on top of that they can make my poor poor hagatha looking like a chump

I think BHVR just hates zoning killers. Both Hag and Skull Merchant left to die.
Even though I hate hag she does need some kind of buff, but I think just slapping 4.6 on her probably isn't it. Even with her being 4.4, a hag that has her teleport bound to scroll wheel will teleport instantaneously, sometimes so fast that it's impossible to not get hit. As of now her only effective counterplay is to trigger her traps, not to manually wipe them away because it takes way too long unless you need to be stealthy. Personally I saw a suggestion before that Hag should be able to place down two different types of traps: her collision traps from her addon, and regular teleport traps. I think that would make Hag a bit more versatile. You could also increase her trap setting speed and her teleport range.
Skull merchant is literally being reworked right now lol
in my experience, if a survivor continues moving in the same direction they were moving when triggering the trap in a normal reaction to be able to tp especially if you are kicking a gen or swinging at another surv or whatever and you tp, because hag has no momentum after a tp and the surv does as long as they dont react to the BWAAAAA you are not very likely to get a hit. I feel like she could use a super small basekit speed to allow a tiny bit of breathing room to try a chase for more than a few seconds OR that if you are moving when you tp you preserve the momentum after the tp and then keep 4.4.
Im sorry you hate hag though, i get it, but i love trap based kits for characters so hag and trapper have a special place in my heart.
I would happily take like a basekit 12.5% range increase too
I hate to do this to all the hag players out there, but unless she's running Rusty Shackles you can actually counter her shockingly consistently by just running backwards into her traps and holding S. Unless she has coup or something, I'm fairly certain she still just straight up can't hit you with an instant lunge even with mousewheel bindings.
Soon… we might see her in 2030
August...close enough in my book
Since hag will never be 4.6, as a self proclaimed Hag Main I have a tip and my favorite build that has netted me a pretty decent winrate.
Hot Take Incoming: Corrupt Intervention is BAD on setup killers, it immediately forces survivors into your 3 gen that you are actively setting up which makes it half as strong, and easier to break than it normally would. Of course there are exceptions, but for example on trapper I run Machine Learning in order to get free procs whilst I'm grabbing my traps.
The Build:
Hag unfortunately doesn't have a lot of perks that actually promote her gameplay and/or improve on it, BUT I think this is probably the best build I've been using. TBTC allows you to set traps and break generators without wasting 5 minutes. Fortunes Fool is really good on Hag as it gets people to search the map and possibly enter into your web, and if they aren't looking in your web they're likely across the map not doing gens. No Holds Barred is great as it is amazing info and passive slowdown. Monitor or stealth perks are just a personal favorite and works great with Hag as survivors won't know if you're trapping near them unless they have LoS.
The best part is that this build is mostly free aside from TBTC, if you don't have TBTC I recommend swapping out TBTC and Monitor for Sloppy Butcher and STBFL
I know that trick, the problem is most hags I run into are using Rusty Shackles lmao
Super hot take: corrupt intervention is over rated and ends up being a waste of a perk slot
rusty shackles is my favorite addon for her, it makes her very useable and i perform well with it, but the bloodweb is stingy with that one.
i find moniter and abuse a strange recommendation. why do you like that one?
