Unfortunately, I think pig needs to be worked on.
I went against a pig earlier in the night and I honestly enjoy going against pigs, but the playstyle that they use can sometimes be annoying. I personally think that she needs worked on. Her ambush is okay. It needs a little improvement with the speed imo. The main issue I have is her traps. I know I should get gud but I don't like the fact that her ambush doesn't start a chase since she is able to just follow a person with an active trap which results in that person dying to either the trap, or the pig player grabbing them out of the jigsaw machine. I would like if that could possibly be looked at because it just creates an unhealthy playstyle.

If a pig is going after a person with a head trap then it's a guarantee lost as other survivors can just do gens, even with two head trap add-ons, probably the best thing that person can do is go to the furthest corner of the map so when they die the pig wastes a lot of time going after another survivor.
Yes it's usually a loss if the survivor in question knows what to do, but a decent number don't, and in addition it just feels awful. It's the same as, yes, if a Bubba just camps someone from first hook to death they're throwing the game, but it feels like crap and is an unhealthy play style, and often can still result in at least a 2k
I did actually try this play style and most of the time I did get a 2k so ig it should be addressed in some way, just making so you can start chase when in ambush.
I assume you mean crouching with the ambush? I just want to point out that you can also not crouch and just walk backwards after the survivor, I used this trick many times in the past.
Like I wrote before you can also just go after the survivor backwards, so they would need to change that too. Probably to proximity instead of in chase, but hidden if it continues or not so that the survivor doesn't just know if you're close enough.
If the pig goes backwards (assuming they are not in ambush but we are gonna assume it's fixed so if a survivor runs Infront of the killer in ambush they are going to start a chase) the survivor can run Infront of them and start a chase, or another survivor can body block without pig knowing as they wouldn't see what's behind and waste enough time for survivor to hide.
A proximity thing wouldn't be a good idea, like sometimes just run to the pig to waste time and with proximity thing this can be kinda abused.
I guess, but isn't it the same with crouching? Running in front of her is not as easy as you think I believe, and body blocking works with both. So I think if you fix one you should fix both.
I see what you mean with the proximity, was just an idea :D
