I have been playing dead by daylight for about 6 years now, and while I think being able to be anonymous in game is a great feature for a multitude of reasons, I have one issue with it. Players who are anonymous should NOT be able to talk in end game chat. The amount of times I have been told horrible things or insulted in end game chat by anon players is insane, way more than before this was implemented. The people who are saying horrible stuff in end game chat get to hide behind an anonymous profile which makes it impossible to report them and allows people to feel more comfortable saying horrible stuff and insulting people. Please remove the ability for anon players to talk in end game chat I am at the point where I don’t even want to play the game half the time as this is becoming such a common thing.

    You can report them totally fine in the game. It does not make them immune of reporting.

    You can still report them, but the issue that needs to be addressed is the amount of toxicity and bad filters like bhvr is not a small company, they should be able to make the same filtering system as marvel rivals or deleting egc would be enough

    Bhvr filtering system is way to harsh sometimes tho. Last PTB we had it was cencoring LMFAO. Perk names such as rancor ive seen cencored too.

    You are able to close the chat so it will never open again, you can also still report people other commenters have stated.

    until DBD has a way of letting me be annon in starting lobby but not end game lobby those restrictions are not needed as most people play annon to avoid lobby shoppers.

    I know that you can turn off the chat but personally I find it funny, I haven't seen "lobby shoppers" personally and I don't do that, but you can just wait for a different killer, doesn't take long. I have gotten survivors who leave the match when the match is loading cuz they got the message saying who is the killer (happens sometimes) and they just leave cuz of entitlement (this is worse than the "lobby shoppers" as then as killer you need to wait for the long queue time and the survivor is not punished)

    you can’t even say survivor names without it being censored. The censor system is an absolute joke.
