So.. no announcement about Consoles and Controller improvements?
Why are we treated like second class citizens?

I can't speak for consoles since I play DBD on PC, but what's wrong with controller?
Controller is a really great option for survivor in this game, I use controller for survivor myself despite being a PC gamer. Many say it's the better option.
For killer it has the same issues as controller always has for anything where you need to aim, but that's just inherent to the nature of stick aiming. Gyro support might help (if it doesn't have it already) but KB+M is hard to beat for precise aim and turning ability.
They have talked about some Controller Setting that will be tested with the community killer The Judgement. Iirc its about different sensitivity settings when using the power.
I really hope the Community will be very vocal and constructive in their feedback regarding this and advanced controller settings!
We are getting controller QoL in future bit by bit they said, starting with the grimoire. That said the input lag is the main thing I want fixed on console
Input lag and deadzones and response curves. The latter two i can somewhat influence with Steam but console players are completely restricted
Yeah that's a great way of putting it, those could really use help
Input lag is partially due to the screen used. Monitors made for gaming have a lower input lag, whereas TV's may have a larger Input lag. That's hardware dependent: how long does it take for the respective frame to update the device's signal?
i have noticeable Input lag on Steam when comparing (wired) Controller vs M&K, Ssame monitor used
it used to be way worse a few years back though, so there have been improvements made!
Also a possibility that the wires have less data transfer. Extra layers of data communication. Is the wired controller better or worse? What's the wattage/data throughput of the wires?
don’t really care too much about my specific setup.
Lets just sum it up as its definitley less lag than wireless and definitley more lag than other games/direct pc inputs. Also it shouldnt be that noticeable on consoles either.
More data-points the better, though I'm hands-off and not sure of the best channels to report functionality.
