Is there anyway mods can deal with troll accounts?
Yeah everybody is entitled to their own opinion and whatnot but it would be nice if we could have mods stop these accounts from derailing the entire topic by pushing us vs them. It was funny at first but now its genuinely annoying when people are trying to have genuine conversations of topics that aren't even related to killer vs survivor and the same people (its one person) keeps making it about them and survivors and/or killers.
It just causes the already toxic game to leak into forums where genuine feedback about the game is being made.

i wouldnt say trolling, just a one of the kinds of people that seem insufferable to be around that plays dbd while being miserable
Really unfortunate as there won't be a bunch of mods preventing toxicity atm since I'm assuming they're managing the anniversary stuff
unless its explicitly breaking rules they arent going to do anything. being annoying isnt against the rules. unless they are directly disrespectful or something similar they wont do anything about it.

ive been noticing a huge uptick in fresh accounts that join to do one of three things:
1.) ragebait
2.) derail a topic
3.) target users or intentionally troll in threads
i'm almost wondering if these accounts are being made by the same person. conveniently they always seem to register when staff is offline. too bad there isn't anything you can do about it other than flag these accounts as they come
I know at least 2 are made by the same person and I'm pretty sure buffnemesiszombies is the same one too. I say this as they are all accounts made on the WITH profile picture so..
