She feels incredibly weak to me, other killers like Legion and Plague can injure much faster and easier and I really dont like the recall undetectable

Skull Merchant main here! She is very weak, one of if not the weakest in the game. I main her because i enjoy the effort needed to win and feel highly rewarded. Sadly no, there is no update. in fact there were rumours of her getting reworked with a kamikaze drone power but those were dismantled. latest changes to her were some HUD changes
To me she does not feel rewarding at allš„² scanning people 3 times is hard enough and then its just an injury only, not even a down
Thats what makes her feel rewarding, i won with a power thats hard to utilize, relying on mostly my own skill!
Legion and Plague are bad examples tbh the recall undetectable is significantly better as survivors will not know you are coming unlike when you place a drone and they see the aura/scan lines what you do in chase is lead survivors to an unsafe loop with little means of escaping and force the drone onto them by repeatedly swapping the drones scan directions back and fourth while yes she is bad you can win most of your matches if you pay attention
The main problem I have is that you dont have undetectable in loops when you deploy a drone, you only get it when you recall one and that literally requires you to remove map pressure (tbf the drones dont do anything outside of chase so it doesnt matter) for what a few seconds of undetectable? Idk I just dropped her for Springtrap because she feels so clunky
You should always have 1-2 drones that you can recall. Recalling downed drones that are next to gens can scare away survivors even if you're in chase
I think you're missing the point Pidgeon was trying to make. Undetectable when you drop a drone lets the survivor know you're still there because they can see the drone's orange aura in the area. Plus the effective duration of the Undetectable is WAY shorter than you realize, so you're only getting maybe the same amount of benefit in hiding your red stain as you would by moon walking.
In case you weren't aware, the way Undetectable works on killers in regards to their terror radius is that it doesn't instantly remove your TR when you trigger Undetectable. Instead, your TR shrinks over a set amount of time until it's completely gone. So if you were previously trying to drop a drone at a loop while in chase to use the Undetectable in that chase, you weren't really accomplishing anything in the way you thought you were.
Undetectable on recall is significantly better in that it rewards planning your attacks and gives you more time to successfully ambush survivors, especially if you run Adaptive Lighting. Also, why make the argument that it removes map pressure when you previously complained the drones didn't feel rewarding because it takes three scans to get an injury? (Discounting the unavoidable detection you also get from a Claw Trapā¦)
Don't get me wrong. I love Skull Merchant and have mained her since her release, through every iteration of her kit. She does need a lot of buffs. But until that happens, we'll have to work with what we got, That means getting solid with the macro-play to really benefit from her Undetectable-on-Recall, keeping track of survivor positions by seeing where they're disabling drones, effective rotation switching, and laser tagging.
We were promised a rework. Last year. Or 2 years ago now? I guess thats what happens when you trust BHVR
The rework was denied because they turned her into dash/ranged killer slop and nobody liked it, however I really wish they kept drones being stealthy.
