Major Jason Spike Extraction problem

Fun fact about Jason's spike, removing and extracting the spike considers it a complete heal on a survivor.

This activates WGLF, Conviction, MFT, Soul Guard, Buckle Up, etc it also works on self extraction btw

So if your wondering why that guy randomly got endurance or picked themselves up now you know spaghetti code strikes again

  • Hope they fix it.

  • Report it at the betahub DBD bug reports so it can get fixed. I don't think this has been reported at all.

  • This is actually a bug, not a design intention - and it will be fixed for release!

But a good opportunity to remind everyone to report bugs they find on Betahub, its the only way it's guaranteed to be seen.

quick question. Is there a way for players to know where to go to report bugs while in-game? (via a "report bug" button) or something? or is it fully third party?

Its unfortunately not integrated into the game, so it does need to be either on Discord or the website.

Ah. Thats a shame but im guessing integrating it into a button would need an agreement from betahub themselves (as im guessing that would also need to be approved by other parties like PSN, XBOX and Nintendo etc.)

I feel like some of the bugs I have reported on Betahub are not seen. How do I know someone has actually seen it or logged it? (Is there a setting I am missing or something I need to download?)

everything is seen as it creates a jira on our system automatically, however priorities on bugs themselves are different and having duplicate reports etc will increase the priorities on a bug, which is part of why we always advise reporting, even if the bug is reported on there.

Do the community managers here still relay posts like this to the team or create a jira ticket on our behalf?

I can only speak for myself, but I really don't want to create yet another online account for a very small use case and increase my digital footprint when all the necessary info is already in a thread like this.

no we don't, its why we direct everything to Betahub.
