Seeing Trickster rework makes me have hope for Skull Merchant

    Trickster update is exciting at first glance but its gonna be very dependant on the numbers and how it feels in practise.

    He seems like a pretty similar killer, after all. I don't see anything that's gonna make pre-running less effective and i also don't see anything that will make people find him less frustrating to against. He seems more skill dependant and better designed, though.

    Good how exactly? What did the trickster get that changes them in any meaningful way? Do you think people are actually going to pay attention to the style system at all beyond using it as a new main event gauge?

    Yeah nothing changed on the play style as the killer or the counter play as a survivor.

    They basically just made Main event harder to get and iron maiden for faster reloading.

    But I geuss it's technically a buff since the made the number of shots hit to 6 from 8 to Injure

    Keep in mind, we don't know everything yet. I would advise waiting for the full thing before judging.

    • During the streaming they clearly said "it will be more fun for the survivor too to face trickster" to me it seems like the same countermove as always.

    • This is just my feeling, but from what I understand, the "new" Trickster improves where he was already good (a survivor in an area with low walls will be literally doomed, even more so than before) and worsens where he was already weak (if the survivor is in an area with high walls, Trickster will have even more difficulty, since a lot of precision with the knives is now required). As someone already said, we'll have to wait for PTB to make a real judgment.

    I know this will just be another killer buff which everyone will play for like 2 months.

    And then go back to ghoul and blight.

    Instead of just nerfing the high tiers so everyone can have some variety instead of playing the same 4 killers.

    I mean yeah I'm waiting to be surprised so far this is just early assessment hopefully the specific numbers we have yet to see will be something good

    Well, currently we don't know if they even continue with attempt to rework Skully, do we?

    With last buffs (followed by nerf because screw her) they claimed if it seems enough, they will not do rework. (It's not enough, for me it's worse than before)
    Rework was supposed to basically cost too much time, they don't want to waste on her.

    Faster injures but slower to catch up or when using knifes and more limited knifes and harder to get main even that cant be used near hooks which was its main reason to use it so I dont think he will be much better that current live version only difference is that he will have more style.

    Pretty much thats it, I see it this way too just better where he already was good and bigger begar where he needed help so I dont see it like huge buff but more as style upgrade tbh (just from some vids what I saw).

    As a Hag majn it gives me worry. People who don't paly trickster tearing this ptb apart makes me fearful for how the horrendous misunderstandings that could come from a Hag rework.
