Do Alucard and El Have A Mark of Negation?
Just a lore question. Both have innate powers that would let them invalidate 75% of the Killer roster. Are they marked by the Entity since they don't seem to be able to use their abilities?

Nope apparently the Mark of Negation is only for people like purple Vecna cause according to his lore godly or basically reached God tier powers so I geuss alucard and El ain't at the level where they deserve it even though they can could beat and kill some of the killers heck even the other Belmont's could.
Yeah idk I just think the mark wasn't very well thought out
Yeah, idk either.
Like even without weapons Alucard, some Belmonts and El should be killing the Killers ๐ so it'd make sense to do that
Yeah even Geralt of Rivia could too cause he's got sword training CQC and magic technically idk since we're in the age where we're adding survivors with powers and just fighters who could turn Hag into a pelt. I feel like Devs gotta explain like yeah the entity makes super powered people and fighters just weak and don't allow powers for them.
Or maybe like show a cutscene of like Ghostface or any normal killer getting destroyed by El or something but there protected by the entity or something so they can't be killed or mind powered
Now that I think about it I wonder if when that demigod angel killer comes out will they receive a Mark of Negation
I forgot Geralt was in the game tbh
He is a rare skin tbh I never really expected him to be added he fights monsters and humans but isn't really horror other than his quests usually are my wife was eaten by this scary monster
Admittedly, I played Witcher 3 a very long time ago, but thats about my recollection as well.
Are the character bios up on the PTB? I wouldn't mind knowing the circumstances of how the entity contained El, if it's there and someone can share
Doesn't Dracula not have one either? He's like literally the incarnation of the concept of chaos, which they lean into pretty heavily with the True Form skin and his name being The Dark Lord.
I bet Konami just didn't want to have their characters stated to be nerfed in lore, although the very fact Alucard doesn't slime every killer that isn't Dracula or either of the Vecna's the moment the match starts means he must've been.
Perhaps Dark Lord doesn't need a mark because he's no threat to the Entity. In one of his lobby voicelines he says that this is Vampire heaven, plus he gets to bring his castle with him wherever he goes. That seems like a good deal to me! He's got all the prey he wants, gets the nicest views from his balcony, and never has to worry about daylight.
Vecna, on the other hand, is a conqueror who willingly came to the Realm with the intention to bring it under his control. And he is very much capable of doing so. And the Entity knows this. Hence the mark, because otherwise it's only a matter of time before Vecna actually succeeds.
