The Cannibal: Wrong Chainsaw Color
More of a nitpicking complaint but why is Leatherface's chainsaw the wrong color? I'm aware that in some TCM movies he has a yellow chainsaw. But Bubba's story in DBD implies he was taken to the Entity's realm after the events of the first movie so why is the chainsaw the wrong color?

Im confused... the chainsaw looks yellow in the original.
That's unfortunately because of the film's age some colors just look off
Here's his chainsaw used in the film i brightened it up some.
Yeah, I looked it up and it was saying the colors were different depending on the film version. Old VHS versions make it look yellow, while recent 4k scans show it as lime green.
that's a neat bit of trivia
What makes this even weirder is the license holders would've had to approve the design, so they either thought it was yellow or just didn't care, both of which are odd if you are the license holder
It's possible they designed the lime green version, but everyone agreed it didn't look right.
TCM has a much different color scheme than DbD and scenes are a lot more cluttered (as is generally normal when comparing a movie to a video game). Possible everyone agreed that Bubba running around within a dark setting and nothing else to offset the color made the green just look really silly.
Or they just went with the idea that because the version many people saw it looked yellow, thus canonically it was yellow, and the 4k version looks like it didn't come out until 2023.
