Penalty system malfunction – grade decrease when disconnecting or AFK
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
Grade decreases as a penalty after disconnecting or being AFK, even though penalties should only apply as matchmaking bans.
PLATFORM: PC (Steam)
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
- Joined a match as Survivor or Killer.
- Went AFK or disconnected during the match.
- After the match ended, received a penalty as expected, but my grade also decreased (for example, from Gold I to Gold II).
- This has happened multiple times and I believe penalties should not lower grades.

I reported this same problem in bug reports on June 21st. It's still 'under review'. It's been happening to me and people I know since the 18th, without being afk or disconnecting. Just random. Last happened today to a friend for no reason. Feels like randomly being punished for playing the game.
True, new penalty system is useless, literally no one asked for it and now it takes our grades for no damn reason😭
When did they implemented it? Kinda harsh 😕
So if my net goes, power goes down or I will DC then my grade will be lost right and it's been like that before fnaf too right?
What happened to the Kill Switch? They kill switched the grade loss supposedly soon after they implemented it, but it keeps happening. Also, it happens for no reason as I've had it happen to me with no crows, not afk and no dc. So there is definitely a bug whether anyone acknowledges it or not.
So it's implemented with fnaf chapter, damn thats too harsh then, grades it's just bps no need to be greedy like that poor players didn't deserved it😭
The system is so bad that I even had a Grade AND DC penalty for completely playing out a match normally. Maxed repair score, healed a few, unhooked a few, got chased some,… Then after a 10min match I die as the very last person… and the game is like "Hey I see you were trying to go next… blabla…"… Not only does it slap me with a 5min match ban, but also took away my IRRI1 rank… wth are we doing guys?

Exactly what has been happening to me! Only no warning or explanation. I just see the grade loss at the end of the game. A couple of times I should have gotten two pips from the match - 3 iri emblems and the bar was at two - and they degraded me instead. Again, no explanation. I quit out the first time it happened not knowing what else to do and when I came back the next time I felt brave enough to try I had a 15 minute ban when I readied for a match. Later I found a message in my inbox saying that I was flagged as inactive! This is insane and they need to clearly explain to us what they are doing and why! This is out of control.
Penalties for DC'ing? Ok I unerstand that. But to take Grade, 5 ranks of grade and then the next day when i log in I have a game ban timer? What is this? I get survivors DC'ing all the time. No penalties, you give them their points because they were sucking dirt. Because this is what BHVR did to make things easy for the whiny little survivors who do not know how to play. How do not know how to hide. Who do not know how to loop. And if they do, then I am just better than them.
Behanviour !!!! Fix your ######### !!! If this keeps up I am done with your game. I am tired of everything being put in the survivors favor. You took away Map Perks, or might as well have with that fix you made to it. Because SURVIVORS didnt want killers choosing their map for them.
These Quality of Life changes are ABSOLUTE GARBAGE !!!!!!!!
What are you going to do Behaviour when you have no more killers play the game? Run Bots?
