After the Billy rework I have a little more hope.
It seems they finally learned that buffing lacking killers is better than just justifying bad changes.
Maybe now we can soon see Freddy and the Twins get some good changes. Or maybe better add-ons for other killers.
What would you like to buff about some forgotten killers?

Freddy deserves full rework. He was the reason i bought this game and now he is garbage. It's sad to see him like that. He is icon, one of the best slashers....
For Twins. Hopefully they fix both side problems. Twins hated because of slugging was only way to play them and survivors hate it. Hopefully her new kit won't force them to slug like before.
I used to like freddy until they threw him under several busses, I hate how his dream world looks but used to tolerate it because I liked him but that didn't last long.

The Twins rework needs to be fantastic. It's taken so long.
It would be cool if the Twins’ rework basically allows for co-op play with them. It doesn’t have to be mandatory (maybe Victor is AI-controlled if no other player assumes him), but I think it would be an awesome feature for them.
The Twins rework will 100% be an overall nerf. Slugging will get super nerfed, and Twins might get extremely minor buffs, that won't be anywhere near compensation for the slugging nerf.
It's just like how Sadako got complaints about condemn kills being unfair, so they got super nerfed. Or like how Pig got complaints about trap kills being unfair, so they got super nerfed. The only reason why Billy's rework was different, was because there really weren't any complaints about part of his gameplay being unfair.
Because honestly, BHVR has taken so long to do this Twins rework, and they've given zero actual information on the actual changes, which likely means that whatever is being planned is going to be terrible for Twins players. Because if there was anything positive to contribute, they could have said it.
Interesting concept but I don't think they will add it. It will probabaly be a nerf.
