Devs, can you fix status effects? They do not work anymore

With the ingame HUD many ingame status effects are redundant. Make it so oblivious and blindness makes it so you can't see the ingame hud.

Survivors have no reason to fear oblivious because they can see when a Killer is in chase. The basekit HUD even makes playing against stealth Killers a thing of the past. No heartbeat no problem, just look at the HUD and stay on gens.

  • the goal of the HUD was to bridge the massive gap between soloq and swf so being able to remove it would widen that gap again, which is the last thing the game needs

100%. If that happened I wouldn't touch solo queue again to be honest.

  • Killers get no compensation. The HUD makes many current ingame things useless for Killer.

It’s an asymmetrical game. killers don’t need a direct compensation for a Quality of Life feature of soloq. Nothing that got added was not already a problem against SWF anyways so killers should have assumed the survs had the info already. And killers do get buffs and QoL features as well (see FoV slider)

Their buffs usually come at a cost. For example, increasing your FOV with the slider will make you more susceptible to blinds, the devs said.

Gotta ask for more examples here.

and this ‚buff‘ (which is more a QoL and accessibility feature) already had this downside in the perks changing FoV. Also it will be in the beta like this - similar to the new wiggle skillchecks that got some changes because of feedback (notably, it’s a survivor feature that got nerfed upon live release).
