If it has old, my friend, GeneralV is sold.
There are very few exceptions to this rule, but portraits aren't one of them. They were definitely better back then.
They look like rubber dolls or clay men.
Curious if they will sell custom images for the characters icons in the item shop.
If they do, the classics better not be overpriced.

There are some new ones I prefer but I mostly agree. The old portraits looked better overall.
While it's true that you can restore the old portraits on PC, they look very off since they resized the portrait frames to be larger, it's a shame.
My least favorite out of the new portraits is Artist, she is so stoneheaded it's hilarious lmao. Not even looking straight ahead, nor showing any form of expression, they just made her look so goofy. Even her old portrait wasn't great either. Poor Artist.
The new portraits look uncanny. I'm not even sure how to articulate what specifically is off-putting. If they ever swapped back to the old icons I'd be happy.
