WHERE is the anti-camp mechanic?

You've announced it during anniversary stream and that's the last time we've heard about it. Only no hook grabs went live.

Since reset games have been plagued with campers every other game, so many waste games...time and just simply boring gameplay.

Can we get some update on when is this actually coming to the game?

  • Maybe testing didn't end well...

Hook grabs removed is quite a good start and fixed camping for most killers imo. It was basically all I wanted.

  • My question is, where is the FOV accessibility feature that was supposedly in the works for players susceptible to motion sickness because of how zoomed in the current FOV is on Killer?... :X

I wish I had your luck. I still get so many people who just immediately facecamp the first down which is still incredibly strong against solo players.

Yeah, but you can go for unhooking solo without worrying about a grab that's going to lose whole game.

  • Didn't they say that would be out sometime around autumn? Just wait, damn.

They basically said that it would take time to even put it in a PTB, but yeah, I doubt it would go any further than it because any time that they tried to implement an anti camping mechanic survivors abused the hell out of it so they just dismissed it at the end.

The only way it would work if the self unhook meter totally stops the moment another survivor is near the hook, and even then I'm sure survivors would find a way to abuse it and make the save guaranteed. Let's hope I'm wrong.

BHVR said the timer would be slowed if survivors were near, but not stop. So it will definitely be abused.

So just make it stop... That's not really hard change.

Issue is range, if it is too low, then killers can easily proxy camp

if it is too wide, then killer can get hit by it without actually camping (Midwitch is most likely to get this), which is going to feel very bad for the killer.
