taking someone "hostage" in game allowed?
had a match with a bubba facecamping the good ol' fashioned way. 1 gen short he got us all down (and the first triple hook guy was tunneld 2 minutes into the game, sadly). i was the last one he got down and he just watched me bleed to death.
i mean, cmon, is this a regular and allowed play?
its not about "get unbreakable"... he got nothing in terms of ingame value out of this.

Not hostage, you bleed out in 4 minutes.
you dont know what quotes are for? this is sad.
Okay, so.
EDIT: Thanks Mandy - it seems that the slugging thing may not happen after all.
Just to add to this, two other methods of 'hostage' taking, confirmed by BHVR:
* Survivors body blocking another survivor for extended duration, just like the killer example.
* Killer holding a 3 gen while deliberately not downing or hooking survivors. The example used was a doctor player who just kicked gens, shocked survivors repeatedly (who even stood still for him to just hook them), and maybe injured without slugging, simply to prevent the gens from being completed.
Edit: For reference with the 3-gen scenario: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/521124/#Comment_521124
Quotation marks or not...going to step straight in here and say this is not taking the game hostage. The game will naturally come to an end within a few minutes and there's a variety of reasons that a killer may choose to slug a survivor, including not being able to reach a hook without a wiggle out for example.
With regards to your last paragraph - this isn't something we actually said. I believe what you are referring to is the recent PTB where we tested the Finisher Mori, which I will emphasis was just an early prototype and none of what was tested is confirmed to come to the game at all.
I was referring to the baseline unbreakable thing and the finisher mori, yeah. But ah, okay. I thought that the change was confirmed and you were just testing ideas on how to best implement it.
But while we have you here, Mandy - are there any plans to look into the...increasingly common situation described here, where the final two survivors essentially just play hide and seek while avoiding AFK crows? It's obnoxious to play against and can stall the game out nearly forever if they do it right, especially on larger maps.
