Hey Dev's ....

.... I cant hear audio cues in locating survivors when your music is blasting SO LOUD. Give us an option to turn off. Stridor is useless!!!!!!!

  • This. Chase music blasting, and that audio cue when "finding" survivors, prevent killers from hearing footsteps and breathing correctly.

  • We are BHVR.

    Next, we are going to:

    1. Restrict your desktop mouse dpi settings so everyone plays with their mouse the same way
    2. Reprogram your ambient lighting so you don't gain an unfair advantage, or have anything to distract from their amazing in-game lighting design
    3. Restrict your printer to B/W only
    4. Enable EAC to prevent the game from starting if your fans are going to fast
    5. Enforce Edge as your default browser
    6. Confirm your last eye doctor visit and make sure you can pass the DBD Standardized Vision Supplemental and Lighting Dissipation Test (we just call this one STD for short)
    7. Verify (with a photo) your fish tank filter is clean. This is very important for a fluid game play experience. Like super important.
    8. If over 40, confirm your last prostate exam/visit. Must post results.

    literally.

i asked them why they didnt implement voice chat when there was a bug where you could literally hear other peoples mic shortly after release and they gave this bs answer of "oh its because it would ruin the ambience".

right, then why was the code already partially in the game?

and why dont they just make it an optional thing for people who dont give a crap about the ambience?

oh, i know! probably because they didnt manage to figure out how to make proper proximity voice chat or just how to make it not sound like crap. it was just 2 much effort.

Or, here's a realistic alternative: they created it, tested it, realized it was no good, and just didn't get rid of it properly.

  • As of right now, I would suggest using Blood Hound, Predator, Stridor, and/or Nurse’s Calling with the current audio bug. You don’t have to equip all 4, but these are really the only perks Killers can use if they’re having issues with the current audio bug, unless if you’re playing a Killer that can track Survivors very easily, such as Doctor, Michael with Scratched Mirror, Hag, or Wraith with his all-seeing add-ons. I hope this helps anyone who is having issues with this audio, and lets hope it’s fixed soon. :)
