Don't try to mindgame them at a pallet and try not to leave scratch marks if you think she's phasing. Iron Will helps.

Couple ways - break line of sight, such as a wall on the other side of a dropped pallet or go through a narrow she cannot see, when she phases to catch up, slow walk away in another direction (try not to disturb grass/weeds) and get behind some other cover. Lot easier with urban evasion. Lot harder if you are injured.
If you are caught in a loop with her I've had success with when she looks like she is phasing start running back and forth making scratch marks like crazy. Step back away from the loop so she doesn't bump into you giving yourself away and if you have good timing when she is about to end phase just reverse direction and run around the other side of the loop. Don't approach her husk - she may be faking a phase.
You can run from her shes only 110 very easy to loop just don't fall for mindgames, if she stands still across from you at a pallet WALK away from the loop ASAP.
She will either smash the pallet in which case hit that shift or she will swing on a pallet you're no longer standing at.
Easy to loop? Lol.
You don't have much time to react to this, how ever a flashlight is quite helpful against a Spirit. If you're at a loop with a **thrown down** pallet, and she all of a sudden stops walking, it either means she's phasing or trying to fake you out. Shine your light at her, if the beam focuses its the real thing, if it doesn't it means she's phasing and you're most likely safe to vault the pallet.
It's usually easy to juke spirit bc of her 110% movement speed

Stop trying to out run her. When she phases stop running and be stealthy. Never approach the husk or run back in a straight line. Iron will is a spirits biggest counter.
If you have a flashlight and she is standing at a pallet for the mind game blind her and walk away. Most will flinch and move thats how I tell if they are phasing or not. Else just leave she can have the pallet
Spirit is a funny story, she is completely dependant on mindgames, is she better at it than you? You're screwed. Are you better at mindgames than the Spirit? She's screwed.
Its best to learn her, once you understand how she and her mindgames work it will become easier and easier, till she struggles to catch you at all.
Avoid the grass/corn. If you are far away from her and she is phase walking don't run, walk. Her power can be also be juked by some good windows on certain maps.
Dance with me, lithe, quick and quiet, iron will, lightweight are very good perks to counter her.

I run Bloodhound on my Spirit. This means you are usually easy to find again if you did juke me.
Other then that: Practice :)
Spirit relies HEAVILY on hearing. Don't leave scratchmarks around the place, and don't think staying in a group will protect you from her. When I play as spirit people tend to huddle together as a group to feel safer and then they die together...or ragequit together.
