A solution to tunneling without punishing killers
Have killers build up a Mori with each individual hook. If a killer hooked each survivor once without having killed somebody else he gets to mori somebody. Disconnects remove this mori.

You can do the same with tunneling, which is the reason why its the most efficient way to play
Name one situation where it is not the most efficient way to play
Killing survivor after some hooks is overpowered to be game mechanic, maybe if this was a perk it actually could work. It could even be anti-dc perk.
"You get tired of having to chase your prey over and over again, if the Entity does not wish their souls anyway..."
Once this perk is activated you can kill 1 survivor in the dying state.
Perk activates once all 3 conditions are met:
-all survivors in trial have been hooked. (Even if someone escaped, they have to be hooked once. If someone dced during the trial or did not load into the game they are not counted)
- No survivor died or have been killed yet (sacrifices and dcs are ok)
- You have 6/5/4 hooks already
What do you guys think? I don't think its overpowered. Way worse than devour hope, but its not a totem and survivors don't have any warning. Not that great for a perk slot in my opinion.
It took a killer 8 hits and 4 hooks at that point vs potentially only 4 hits and 3 hooks.
Thats camping.
Tunneling is when you have the choice of two "somehow equally" reachable targets and go for the unhooked one. At least thats how tunneling usually is defined
This is meant for lower ranks to incentivize killers to leave their target to get dat mori.
Some killers hardcamp, like within 16m.
Some dance around the hook within 35m or so, checking nearby areas but mostly waiting for the unhook.
If a killer hooks one then goes to get another survivor chances are the first survivor hooked will be unhooked and can get away to heal. Killers in this situation just go for whoever they come across.
The only exceptions being Billy and Nurse as they can down people and cross the map fast rnough to do both.
