i think it will be a great idea to add a ranked mode to the game so players can actually grinde this game with passion . the community has been asking for this for so long please bhvr
would people in ranked be forced to use comm wheel? perk restrictions? vetoing a killer as a team?
Would we be following comp scene or would it just be the exact same mode.

If you go route of just lock stuff behind ranked people are going to play that so they can get stuff.

Devs implement ranked mode.
Queues split and wait times get very long to find an "appropriate match".
It becomes way too sweaty and soon nobody cares about ranked mode, or they whine about it.
Devs add incentives to funnel people into ranked mode, and add arbitrary rules that nerf some killers that didn't need nerfing.
A horde of degenerates flood into ranked mode and ruin it for everybody.
Pressure to win intensifies, and hacking tool sales skyrocket.
Ranked mode is an utter failure and is discontinued, only to be brought back some years later as a seasonal event.
Oh wait, did I just describe the history of Lights Out mode? 🤣
