[Concept] JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure - A New "Stand" Mechanic for DBD

This concept introduces a new mechanical layer to Dead by Daylight: Stand Manifestation. Both the Killer and Survivor use physical manifestations of their fighting spirit to interact with the environment, breaking the traditional 'chase and hide' loop with high-stakes spiritual combat.

NEW KILLER: THE VAMPIRE (DIO)Killer Power: The World’s Dominion
DIO doesn't interact with the world like others; his Stand, The World, does the heavy lifting.

  • Passive – Stand Reach: DIO breaks Pallets and Damages Generators 30% faster. When performing these actions, The World appears to deliver a rapid "MUDA MUDA MUDA!" barrage.
  • Special Ability – Time Stop (ZA WARUDO):
    • Press the Power Button to freeze time for 4 seconds within a 32m radius.
    • During the freeze, DIO moves at 5.0 m/s but cannot perform Basic Attacks. He can throw up to 5 Knives. When time resumes, the knives travel instantly to their targets.
  • Special Attack – Stand Snatch:
    • DIO can manifest The World up to 8 meters ahead. If a Survivor is performing a Vault (Window or Pallet), the Stand grabs them mid-air and pulls them back toward DIO.

Memento Mori: Road Roller Da!
Time freezes, and DIO vanishes, reappearing above the Survivor with a massive Steamroller. He pummels it until it explodes, crushing the Survivor instantly.

NEW SURVIVOR: JOTARO KUJOSurvivor Mechanic: Spirit Gauge
Jotaro builds "Spirit" while being chased or completing objectives.Perk 1: Star Finger (Ranged Intervention)

  • "While a teammate is being carried by the Killer, press the Active Ability Button while within 10 meters. Star Platinum extends its fingers (Star Finger), stunning the Killer for 3 seconds and forcing them to drop the Survivor. Causes Exhaustion for 80 seconds."

Perk 2: ORA! (Counter-Stun)

  • "Stunning the Killer with a Pallet increases the Stun duration by 50%. If the Killer attempts to break that Pallet within the next 5 seconds, Star Platinum blocks the kick once, delaying the break. Has a cooldown of 60 seconds."

Perk 3: Spiritual Awareness

  • "The Stand heightens your senses. Whenever the Killer uses their Special Power (Blink, Cloak, Dash, etc.) within 32 meters, the Killer's Aura is revealed to you for 5 seconds."

NEW MAP: THE CAIRO MANSIONA dark, gothic indoor map with verticality. Players can traverse the library, the grand staircase, and the shadowy halls where DIO waits.

Why this works:

  1. Anti-Looping: DIO's Stand Snatch punishes predictable vaulting.
  2. Strategic Defense: Jotaro’s Star Finger allows for saves without needing Flashlights or being right under the hook.
  3. High Stakes: Time Stop is powerful but requires precise knife aiming, making it a high-skill/high-reward power.

"Note: Numbers (like the 4s Time Stop or 10m Star Finger) are placeholders for balancing purposes. The goal is to translate the high-octane Stand battles of JoJo into DBD’s tactical gameplay.
