About new chapters: Give new characters a small discount of sorts or free trial
So here we are with the highly anticipated Stranger Things chapter 2. Adding a new killer and 2 new survivors and yet despite the hype you barely see Vecna/The First. On first day of release took like 4 trials before finally being put against The First and after a couple days the number of encounters with The First seems to have dwindled even more.
Like all licensed characters they cost 500 Auric cells each to unlock which is $5. I think that there should be a brief discount on new characters when they first release like maybe 20% off or so that lasts maybe 24 hours or 48 hours to give dedicated and returning players a chance to get said characters and their perks for a bit cheaper. It be a good way of encouraging players to get on during new chapters and actually purchase characters.
Though another idea in mind that is mainly intended for killers but could be applied to survivors as well is a limited "trial" period like what was done with the Blight and Jane last year. The trial will be an option given to new characters during chapter releases allowing players access to the characters and check out the new perks they give. If made progress in the blood web through the free trial that progress will be saved if actually purchased, if trial ends without purchasing the progress is lost and blood points invested to the character are refunded.
This would allow killer players a chance to try out new killers who didn't on PTB and increase chances of encountering them as a survivor player during new chapter releases.
