"False Front" - SURVIVOR PERK CONCEPT
Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.
When in the Healthy State, False Front activates when there's at least one survivor in the Injured State.
When in the Injured State, False Front activates when there's at least one survivor in the Healthy State.
However, False Front deactivates after losing a Health State to a killer's direct attack, and can be reactivated after being out of Chase for 30/25/20 seconds.
When you are in the Healthy State, you will appear to be in the Injured State.
- You will make grunts of pain.
- You will leave pools of blood.
- Your animation will reflect that of the Injured State.
When you are in the Injured State, you will appear to be in the Healthy State.
- Your grunts of pain will be reduced by 100%
- You will not leave pools of blood.
- Your animation will reflect that of the Healthy State.
Note: Survivor UI will still reflect the truth.

Interesting idea, but it would just brutalize already weak m1 killers who depend on reliable downs after a long extended chase. This would essentially just bully m1 killers. There would need to be some sort of tell at the very least. It is too easily triggerable, especially if almost everyone is running it. You literally would never know who is healthy and not healthy with such a small cooldown.
I forgot to specify this so I just updated the post now, but it wouldn't affect the UI. UI will always tell the truth, so the main counter would be to pay extra attention to it and realize when the survivor you see injured / healthy isn't actually injured / healthy on the UI, but somebody else is
Once you realize someones running the perk i feel it shouldnt be too hard to adapt and realize injured = healthy and healthy = injured, it's somewhat along the lines of Deception
Ah, that makes a lot more sense. As long as a keen eye can see through the shenanigans, I'm all for deception gameplay. I love Red Herring and Deception XD
this is a sick idea imagine pretending to be healthy and bodyblocking the killer, if they dont swing at you because u appear healthy thatd be hella fun to pull off
also im surprised this is pretty in depth i think u implemented the concept perfectly
