Gameplay and quality of life changes

The game plans large-scale changes in the gameplay and quality of life, which will appear this year.

Nevertheless, I believe that these changes should be worked out in more detail.

That is why I suggest these things.

1. What would be the best way to change the possibility of giving up in matches?

6 minutes after the start of the match, the Killer has the opportunity to give up at any time and end the game by clicking on the "Give up" button.

For survivors, this button will also become active after 6 minutes of the match, or if all the survivors cannot continue the match (they are lying on the ground). Pressing this button by one of the survivors triggers a "Vote" and if all the survivors agree to surrender, they can do so. (Bots automatically vote "for", or their vote is not counted in the system).

After the survivors have surrendered, the match ends immediately. The killer gets blood points for the number of Hits on the survivors that would put them in a "Near-Death State" and blood points for the number of hangings the killer could have done if the survivors had not surrendered.

After the Killer has surrendered, all survivors receive blood points for Escaping from the map + half blood points for each unfinished generator.

Example: If there are 4 generators left, then 4*625 + 7000

P.S. Murderers are often held hostage by cheaters. They cannot exit the match without receiving a penalty for disconnection. They should be able to do this.

2. What should the system of dealing with players who avoid completing strategic tasks and start hiding from the killer look like?

The system starts working only if there are 2 survivors left in the match.

The time after which the Killer will start receiving an alert about the inactivity of the survivor is 100 seconds.

At this moment, many crows will fly over the survivor, who will caw loudly at him.

This effect can be reset if the Killer hits a given survivor.

Actions that reset the timer:
1) Rescue of the survivor from the hook/from the Hangman's cage (Not spam on the hook, it is salvation!)
2) Repair the generator within 10 seconds
3) Gate opening within 1 second
4) Treat another survivor for 2 seconds.
5) Any action that notifies the Killer of the survivor's location (the Killer must receive this notification).

Any of these actions resets the timer to 100 seconds.

3. A problem that will definitely arise when displaying the skills of survivors to each other in the lobby.

If the survivors see each other's perks in the lobby, it will make it difficult to find them, as some players may not like the other player's skill/build and decide to leave the lobby.

That is, a player who has a task in the Archive with certain skills will not be able to complete them with random players.

This problem can be solved either by banning exit from the lobby, or by giving survivors the opportunity to see each other's skills not directly in the lobby, but only during the start of loading.

Survivors will also be able to view their teammates' skills during the match by clicking on the pause button, which will contain all the necessary information.

4. How could the map offering system be made more interesting?

Offerings that previously increased the probability of being on a certain map now have the opposite effect and ensure that the player who placed such an offering will not end up on the map it is associated with.

We suggest making 2 categories of offerings. One of them is for non–dimensional offerings./maps (these are additional blood points / reagents / trapdoor and cellar / hooks/ chests / etc.), and the second is an offering that allows you to choose a maps that the player definitely would not like to be on.

Since there are four survivors, each of them can choose one map that they would not like to be on.

All survivors can see in advance which maps they are canceling to avoid repetitions.

The killer can burn 3 such offerings at a time to cancel 3 different maps.

First, the offerings for canceling the maps are displayed on the screen, and then all the others.

If the Killer bans the same map as the survivors, his offering is not burned and is saved.

5. Compensation for matches with cheaters.

Players should receive compensation for time lost in matches with cheaters. The same goes for rank drops.
