Boil over on hawkins.

Sorry posting this while i have 2 people slugged in the portal room behind the railing. I love the map has returned. But it has some of the most annoying boil over spots. The generator in the portal room with the railing is just a slug invitation and i can tell when they are doing it because they run up there with no intent to even do anything but get past the railing, especially annoying if the basements also there since that pushes any possible hooks further away. And the upstairs lone gen if they put themelves in one of the rooms. Like i hate slugging. But its kinda a given with this map being its from what a 2018 dbd? Surprised this map isnt slated for a update. Ive had another match where the only way into a room was one door and there was a hook in it. So the killer just camped someone out using it.

  • I actually ran Boil Over on Hawkins yesterday and tried this exact thing.

There were 3 hooks within Boil Over range, including one up the stairs right next to the railing.

Shh! Don’t tell them the secrets! (jk) Boil over on Hawkins actually sounds like a really fun time as a Survivor.

    Sorry for the frustration though.

  • Honestly, the level of hatred I have for this perk is the exact same hatred people had for the old Object of Obsession.

Heh, it wasn't that bad if you were a Freddy main, thanks to the partial immunity he had to that perk.

And besides, at least the OoO user I could hook.

  • They bring boil over and a map offering and it's an invitation to be slugged, literally asking you to do it.

Huh i musta got unlucky lol. Basement was below and all the hooks were outside the room. And there was no hook up with the railing.

  • Instead of having to go map-by-map and look for abuseable spots to make Boil Over more fair, they could just make two changes to Boil Over:

    1. Boil Over does not work while exhausted.
    2. Wiggling off the killer's shoulder causes exhaustion.

The survivor can still run to their favorite spot and have fun wasting the killer's time, but they cannot abuse it over and over back-to-back. Plus it fits thematically. The survivor's kickng and flailing will be less effective against the killer if that survivor is exhausted.

    Seems fair to me.

    This it or has charges.
