Surrender Option

Can we get a vote surrender button or something? Why do I get locked from matches because I don't want to play against a face camping killer? Are we seriously supposed to stay in the game while the killer holds us hostage and bleeds us out? What a joke

  • One day you will be able to leave and be replaced by a bot that will stay on hook to the last second.

Would be funny if killer wouldnt realize it

Let's hope survivor get an indicator then, otherwise they might take risks for a bot that won't necessarily help them except being a distraction for hard tunneler.

You're underestimating the power of a bot vs your typical solo queue teammate.

  • You are the teammate we all dislike.

We know it's boring as hell but if you DC, the killer then has a lot of free time to steamroll the rest of the team in a 3v1 with 5 gens to do.

Dying on hook on hook and going next will take less time than waiting out the DC penalty so you might as well just die, give your teammates a fighting chance, and them move on

  • Agreed.

Give us a vote surrender option. Some games aren't worth playing out.

And who decides which are or aren't worth it?

    The survivor group? The killer?

And what happens when it's a 2:2 tie or a 3 against 1? Will the ones that voted for surrender and didn't get their way keep playing or will they start sabotaging their teammates?

Or do survivor and maybe killer all just a free pass to DC when bots are there and we could basically scrap the whole pvp idea after a certain point?

We have often enough seen that people will jump ship at the SLIGHTEST inconvenience when they are given the "freedom" of no penalty

If someone dies at 5 gens, we aren't winning and I'd rather not waste 15 minutes dragging it out.

Give the Killer 25K BP on top of whatever they have already.

Give the Survivors 10K BP on top of whatever they have.

I'm talking about facecamping killers and you somehow make this a personal thing. No one wants to play with killers who actively try to ruin games. If that means "everyone" dislikes me then I don't care lol. Your teammates have a better fighting chance if they can get you off the hook, which is exactly what a facecamper wants you to do, especially since they can grab you off the hook. Its a lose-lose situation if your teammates let you die just to keep the killer busy for a minute. If you're saying the correct play is to let a teammate die then that just proves how much a surrender vote is needed for such cases.

If the survivors majority vote to surrender then why shouldn't they be able to?

That does not answer my question.

How is such a system supposed to work?

Can killer on their own decide to cancel a match? Is the killer included in the group vote as a form of vote from all involved in a trial?

If survivor can decide among themselves, do they need an unanimous decision? What happens at a draw or a "no surrender vote" with the people that voted against the end result and them potentially trolling because they didn't get what they wanted?

I see to many loopholes in such a mechanic.
