Dragon's Grip is a bad perk

30 seconds just isn't enough to get value out of it generally, and the perk going into cooldown regardless of whether or not it was triggered is awful. Outside of niche builds, I never see this perk run by people. Could really use some adjustment I think.

  • imo all it needs is to increase the exposed timer by 15 seconds. It can already carry games on some killers if you play it right.

I use it on spirit for example and it s basically a free hook on at least 1 person. also since people are really scared of spirit while being exposed they just hide somewhere and do nothing. It also provides info if someone is touching a gen because they scream. coupled with call of brine or overcharge it can be really nasty.

  • I think the cooldown needs to changed so it only has a cooldown after a survivor is exposed by it, instead of it being on cooldown after activation. Dragon's Grip can work for some killers though, it's pretty decent on Spirit and Wraith since they can sneak towards the survivor easily (or camp the gen easily in Wraith's case).

  • I think it's stronger than it used to be now that there's perks like CoB and Overcharge which create a lose-lose situation - either you get exposed or you leave the gen to regress hard. But the cooldown condition can be a little silly, considering it still gets cooldown even when it doesn't go into effect.

  • All of those perks should show the killer who's actually the one that's been exposed.

It's not much of an exposure if THEY know they can be one-shot downed, but you don't!

That's what the scream is for. Once you know what each survivor sounds like, you've got your info (as long as it's not a 4-Dwight lobby or some other such silliness.)

  • It can work for certain killers and is a lot better than you think with CoB+ Overcharge.

It's probably better than NOED for a killer like Wraith if you are smart about its use.

Heck I used it on infinite T3 MM for a challenge and it really wasn't that bad as it gave me info when people touched a generator.
