No, grades have no effect on matchmaking.
MMR does not alter when the Grades alter, two entirely different entities there and one is not dependent on the others in the slightest.
Yet both hunger for our souls.
You can't confirm something with anecdotal evidence. You'd need to look at the game's code to know.

Well anectodal its weird is always the same on both killer and surv when a season end and start another.
