Isn't the figure in the teaser the survivor?

I doubt they'd show the killer in such clear detail based on the previous two teasers.
Could be killer in their "pre-killer" state maybe

    Honestly it seems really odd and against how they've teased any other chapter to just be like "Hey here's the killer!". While it's not out of the realm of possibility, I don't think that's what they did. 
    I'm thinking it's a new mode, or just... something else (possibly survivor, but that doesn't sit right with me either).

    It just seems off to be that blatant of a "teaser".

    Yeah l, I thought it could be survivor. They've never shown the killer in all its glory just little a few teasers not a whole "HEY THIS IS HOW THE NEW KILLER LOOKS" they've always given us little information about the new killers. Like the clown, remember how it was just his hand and a bit of his suit along with the finger ring. The spirit, they teased Adam with the instagram picture and the spirit got a short clip with her being chopped up by her father which led people to belive it was kuchi sake Anna getting her face sliced by her husband. Now with this new image they're just completly revealing this character instead of giving us a suspenseful buildup

    I think it's actually the killer AND the survivor! You can pick the different personalities whether you're playing him as survivor or killer. A scary thing for other survivors lol

    cuz the killer is how they always commercialize and hype up every new dlc, why would someone be super happy for another reskin?

    Infinite DS is a big No No. But what about a perk that change the end game ... Let's say : if you are the last survivor alive, the hatch doesn't open at all. Instead you get the opportunity to kill the killer by backstabbing him/her. Off course the killer would have a large speed debuff. The amount of blood point given for such an action should be quite substatial.

    I was only half kidding about the infinite ds but not entirely about the knife tool. Maybe it increases your chance of being cut loose from the hook? Or can swipe at killer to blind him/her.

    There is plenty they could do with it. The fact that you and I are thinking of it almost ensures that developers have brainstormed the idea too.

    I would argue that they kinda teased Kate together with the Clown. But still they teased the Clown with her. So not really.

    I have absolutely no idea how that would work though- like, wouldn’t the survivors be like “oh screw that” everytime they saw him/her/they/whatever pronoun.
