Just remove attemp to escape.

Ive been getting back into survivor and the amount of people who suicide on hook or insta DC is really stupid. Worst thing is that when you get one you are almost guaranteed to lose and then have your MMR lowered so you run into them more. 5 games in a row have had someone suicide on hook and usually after the first one does it and you are left at 3 people on 5 gens then the 2nd or 3rd person does it. Game after game ends up being just hatch standoff or you just trying to stay hidden longer than the other survivor or survivors so you have a shot at hatch. I dont see a single reason why the escape mechanic should exist.

    Sounds similar to putting a HOT warning on a cup of coffee. Let's protect the stupid. Everyone should know that the base percentage change of escaping off the hook is extremely low. Almost negligible. Next time unhook your teammate faster or just accept the fact you're playing with a newbie.

    They can't remove it at this point. They'd have to rework a few perks and delete the luck offerings, and we all know how rework-averse BHVR is and how much they love the bloodweb bloat. Something something bloodpoint economy.

    Ahh yes, remove even more ways for survivors to exit a toxic match. Seriously, this is why the DC penalty is such bad thing (ignoring the constant crashing), If we are at 5 gens and the killer is slugging everyone I would rather just DC and move onto another match (I'm not going to get any points anyway). Sometimes just being able to leave a match is a good thing. If you removed the attempt, and the skill checks on the 2nd stage, people will simply afk. If you don't want people to abandon a match, I hate to tell you this but people will, no matter always want too.
