Remove all the pallets of lampkin

There are way to many safe pallets on that map plus windows so either remove all the windows or remove all the pallets because you can seriously loop a killer around a CAR until they break that pallet or how about this disable the map because it's pure ass.

  • Reworking the map is a better option. You just can’t not have pallets.

    This.

    The problem with Haddonfield are:

    • The fence, which creates far too safe a vault (Badham is worse in this regard, but not by much).
    • Multiple 'free' gens in houses, which are time consuming to scout for the killer, offer a perfect vantage point for survivors and an almost guaranteed escape on demand.

Move gens out of one or two of the houses (or remove the upstairs window/roof combo), probably add another natural gap in the fence somewhere and the map is fine.

RPD is a much bigger issue right now, due to the office pseudo-infinite and the distance between killer spawns, survivor spawns and some gens. It's entirely possible for a gen to pop before you get there, even if you are heading there as soon as the game starts.

  • Reworking it would be a better idea. But for now, play how the devs apparently want us to when you get that hellhole of a map: hard camp and hard tunnel to get one person out.

  • The pallets of haddonfield are trash, what is op on this map are the god windows the survivors have

Those "free gens" are free only if you have balanced landing, otherwise all those gens are death traps.

    What?

    No, they aren't.

You have an ultra-safe vault on every one, occasionally two. You then have a broad drop into either a second vault, a safe barrier, two pallets with a single path between then, a second house (including two other vaults) in easy distance or at worst a maze.

If you hear a terror radius, go to the roof. You can see the killer approach and choose to either drop or stay depending on what they do (if you don't see the killer and it's getting louder, drop). 100% safe. The only way to counter is to either mindgame and hope the survivor makes a silly mistake (generally faking going upstairs and hoping they drop prematurely) or play a killer with a teleport.

It's not quite as bad as RPD and some killers struggle more on Badham, but there's a reason Haddonfield has the reputation it does.

  • Remove the vaults too.

Remove the generators as well. Since looping is so op on that map they don't need to do gens.

Yeah but you've seen them rework maps... the best they've done is making swamp smaller years ago. They somehow made loops bigger on cold wind, made gideons god pallet city, basically kept ormond the same because the chance of you getting a pallet at a filler is still 80%.

Haddonfield gets pretty darn close to being a map where even without pallets, it's still fine for the survivors to loop on. The fences, the god windows, the house of pain. It's all a complete disaster if you're the killer.

  • The best option would be to remove the map...

Ok, seriously now: this map needs a full rework and it's outrageous that it didn't happen until now. It is far more troublesome than McMillan State, Springwood and The Game were before their rework (A Reminder: the rework only made The Game worse). And of course, they need to do a rework that actually solves its problems, unlike they did to Coldwind Farm. But let's see where this goes... and when. Took them years to make a simple change to the hatch to stop keys from being broken. Nearly as much to make the extremely simple nerf to Iridescent Head. I wonder how long will it take for them to make a full layout and loop change to a problematic map like Haddonfield. And judging by what they did so far, I can guess it will still be extremely survivor sided, just not as broken as it is now. I want to be wrong about this, but let's wait and see.

  • I like haddonfield but it definitely needs some tweaks.

Vaults/doors that line up directly between buildings and fences should never be a thing for starters.
