DBD needs new sounds
Sound has been largely untouched for a long time now.
Not only should it be more consistent (the silent survivor bug is still an issue btw), it should sound different too.
The screams of survivors on hooks has gotten old. It is literally the same scream over and over again. How about BHVR gives them new ones? Maybe like 8 each survivor, it's not even that hard.
There should be new doctor laughs; like one laugh where after he hits a survivor he sounds triumphant and snarky. Or how about breathing intensely the closer he is to a survivor in a chase?
Oni could use some new screams too. Maybe 10 different new voicelines?
It would be nice if killers had more voicelines. I have just gotten tired of hearing the same exact sound for so many things in this game. Like generators being done, or the same repair sounds over and over again. Same for every other little thing.
Some new sounds here and there would be nice.

The problem with that is voice actors. DBD is a 5 year old game, a lot can happen in 5 years. VA's can die, get too old to reprise the same voice, lose the ability to voice that character, etc etc. Plus they cost a ######### ton of money. Adding a ton of new sounds is a very lengthy and taxing process, especially to older characters since they are the most likely to have VA's that cannot be brought back. And considering we've grown so accustomed to many of these voices, it would be a crime to attempt to replace them with anybody but their original VA's.
The one sound I'd like to see them add is replace the "loud noise explosion" sound for Spies from the Shadows with loud crow caws. It would be both more thematic to hear crows cawing and also make the perk slightly better since you would be able to distinguish what type of noise it is by sound alone without seeing the flash.
Really? That is a sad to hear.
I don't really care about the voice actors, but i would love more atmospheric sounds
The voice acting and screams sound good to me. I actually like the fact that I can recognize each survivor by their voice, both in their screams and their moans. There are some that are just a lil bit worse than others, but I think it's a bit charming.
Although I think the devs should work a little more on how they blend the sounds survivors make when they are struggling as you're carrying them. Those are the jankiest as some of them cut each other off and end abruptly in weird ways.
A wider sound variety for other things would be nice though, but they should be careful making sure that sounds for important things always remain prominent and recognizable.
I'm pretty sure that they use the same handful of people among the staff to do the voice acting, especially for the killers. So as long as they're still part of the team there shouldn't be any issues with getting them to record some more stuff for the game.
Spies from the shadows would be much cooler if the notification was a much louder crow caw
