Overcharge

Out of all the perks that were adjusted, I'm kinda disappointed that Overcharge wasn't changed. At low level of play newer players will obviously struggle with the perk but at higher play it doesn't do anything or provide value because most survivors know how to do a skill check. On top of that it's predictable as a survivor who sees a regressing gen immediately knows what to expect. Sometimes the skill check is missed but not often enough to warrant value over other perks like pop

  • How is it predictable? Does it spark differently or something?

  • Maybe make it a red skill check that if good check will regress it further for 1 skill check and cause the gen to be yellow when hit as a great?

  • I'd love to see it regress the gen on good check and stun you similar to killer stun on fail, then it'd have more impact.

Imagine coming out of stun to see the killer standing in your face, holy crap that would scare me.

The first time you encounter overcharge in match, every gen is guaranteed to have overcharge if it's regressing because it always applies to a gen when a killer kicks it.

  • They just need to make it so you can't walk away with the skill check. Then at least it could be an anti gen tap perk

  • overcharge is my favorite perk on killer because I run the magical build gen hostage doctor which makes games take from a few minutes. to about an hour. just bring overcharge unnerving presence distressing and whispers. overcharge causes players to hate there existance combined with unnerving presence and the doctors madness tiers causes insanely small skill checks that are backwards. overcharge doesn't effect good players which makes it a balanced perk on it's own so I think overcharge is good where it's at. although I do think that running overcharge huntresses lullaby unnerving presence and distressing is a bit too hard on new survivors which forces them to hit a backwards ds skill check that has no audio warning. so overcharge might need a change that prevents it from being combined with perks that effect skill checks for the sake of are poor rank 20's
