You don't tank a hit. If you get stunned while in attack animation - your timing is wrong and you were stunned BEFORE you could land a hit. That's just your latency, m8. Stop using WiFi.
Latency is one thing, but when you swing for a pallet and the survivor cries out, their icon turns red, then immediately reverts? Thats just not fair.
How dare we killers have a chance punish pallet campers? Put in the vacuum!
This is not a tech. This is a Hit which was not meant to hit, so you dont get it.
He means you can throw a pallet on the same side where killer is. Hit will not register even if you're not on the other side of a pallet
Well, if they make it so that you only see survivors screaming after the hit gets validated, people with WiFi tech will complain about "laggy screaming" in general. If you don't understand it yet, the survivor is only screaming on your screen, because you see an older picture due to the latency. And your client renders the hit effects even though the hit hasn't been validated yet. In fact you didn't hit, you were stunned before you could do it, but you just didn't see it on time due to said latency.
Bull. This isn't an isolated incident. Tons of players are experiencing it only after the patch, so that kind of rules out latency problems and points to game bugs/errors in design. Nice try though.
It's a bug in that your client and the server aren't synced because of latency. Latency exists even with good internet so your client told you you hit but when it checked the server the served said no the stun came first and negated it.
So why is it effecting so many players at once? Are all the clients simultaneously bugged? If so that means the game is the problem.
Because many players have crappy connection? Before the patch it gave them an advantage, now they suffer. Stop playing via WiFi, respect other players.

Dude please calm down lol. Just because you cant get [BAD WORD] hits by swing at pallets all the time does not mean the game is wrong, just that its working like its meant to.

I play with an ethernet cable and usually get around 40-60ms, and still I hear the hit sound sound while being stunned and the survivor is fine
Had this happen a few times on stream
because even a 30ms ping is 30ms latency...so yeah everybody has it. same way every person that plays COD swears they turned a corner before getting shot.

Internet speed and connection type help but do not resolve the issue. Im play on a direct connection with over 100mbps and still have had this issue occasionally. Also getting stunned way after a survivor animation ends (head-on being the primary culprit). The fact of the matter it is just bugged, or dbd's servers are just too ######### to handle what they are trying to do. Probably some of both.
