360 swing

Killer base attacks should affect the entire area around the killer. Any strategy that involves "run at the danger" should be doomed to failure. In my mind, this is an exploit.

  • It shouldn't be all around because then they can hit survivors behind them, but the hitbox should be better since 360ing is stupidly effective on anyone not using a mouse. Even with a mouse actually, because it's hard to even see the survivors when they get so close to you. An fov increase would also help against 360s.

  • Removing survivors' ability to 360 is essentially removing one of the few options they have to do stuff against the killer.

Pallets and windows are gifted to them by RNG, sure they need to now how to use them, and that is a skill component, but getting a jungle gym, into TL, into TL, into shack has nothing to do with their skill, and even a mediocre survivor can waste your time at those.

DH, SB, Lithe and other perks are more the survivor outperking you then outplaying you.

Survivors having unpredictable movement and juking you is actually 100% on them and their ability to move erratically. As much as it is annoying to have a survivor disappear because they got too close to your camera, at least it's them making the plays, and you can counter play by waiting, having good reactions, having good awareness to keep track of them etc.

  • Nope, the Left 4 Dead tank had this built and trust me, it was around to prevent survivors from chainsawing his back and killing him in less than 10 seconds

However in DBD you can always just...idk...turn around or wait it out and swing

    Overall no

Use your moves to go in a direction opposite. Simply turning around as a survivor takes advantage of the terrible view the killers have. It's an exploit, not a play.

In a perfect world, killers would be covered by a zone that if a survivor walked into, they would get injured. Be erratic, that's awesome, but doubling back doesn't make thematic or game sense. It only works because it's a game with issues.

Do you also want a button to blow the heads of the survivors from a distance? ;)
