Bloodlust tier 3 should be removed

Tier 1 and tier 2 still gonna be there, they're fine. Tier 3 on other hand just reward killers for bad gameplay.

  • Once all the old maps are reworked and new maps with the new standard for DBD maps get rolling out I'll expect them to remove Bloodlust 3 definitely. But keep bloodlust 1. Not sure if they'll remove Bloodlust 2 however.

And most of the Survivor's meta perks reward them for bad gameplay. Your point?

Haven forbid the Killer have a sliding-scale mechanic to end a chase. 🙄

  • Why? When was the last time you actually reached Bloodlust 3?

It is not a problem. Never was, and never will be.

If it’s never used then why should it be there at all?

Well, no one uses No One Left Behind, but it is there.

Yes because that’s an optional perk. This is a game mechanic that’s always on.

As of right now all bloodlust 3 does is reward bad killers with hits they don’t deserve

An useless hit after an excessively long chase, which is never a good thing. It kinda has the same effect as one of those optional and useless perks.

Why do we need bloodlust tier 3 in the current state of the game?

Those perks while mediocre can have synergy and are fun to use

We don't, but I don't see a reason to remove it either.

But then again, the current state of the game is not right to begin with.

Why don't they deserve the hit? What metric are you using to determine whether someone deserves something or not?

If they waste 45 seconds to get bloodlust 3, then they have wasted 45 seconds to get one hit and they frankly deserve the reward to their dedication. And if we do the math that is 45 times 3 seconds the other three survivors have to do generators.

As long as maps like Fractured Cowshed exists, bloodlust is fine.

  • Bloodlust should be plain removed. The "infinites" where you need it are so big that they cut off chase and the "infinites" where you don't need it have all been removed.

Survivors and killers have second chance perks however that doesn't make my point invalid, if you hate survivors that much that's your problem.

For maps like cowshed bloodlust 1 is usual enough

Invalid argument. Perk is a perk, an old game mechanic (such as bloodlust) was used in order to counter infinite and bad game design okay. However, we don't have infinities anymore and any mediocre killer can get a hit with tier 1, 2 bloodlust but rewarding killer for bad gameplay just because survivor looped killer perfectly is just stupid game design such as exhaustions addons.

That is a terrible way of replying to someone, but I will go along with it.

We still have 1 actual infinite loop, which is obviously located on Haddonfield, and if you don't go for Breakable Walls we have 3 more. But that is not the point here.

The point is, a killer can get a hit with Bloodlust 1 or 2. Therefore there is no reason for Bloodlust 3, and therefore there is no reason to remove it because no one uses it. I doubt you have used or seen a killer using it recently.

You're lazy that's all. Tier 3 rewards killer for playing terribly and punishes survivors for playing well which is why it should be removed. Btw Haddonfield doesn't have any breakable walls so you clearly don't know what you're talking about. How I am being terrible? Replying and explaining to you how balance works while you don't even know that Haddonfield doesn't have breakable walls..

It's quite obvious that he meant that if you don't deal with breakable walls, you have three more infinites existing on other maps, not just Haddonfield.

  • The whole point of bloodlust is so chases end. Without it, a player can loop MUCH longer.

But given how you're attacking people on here and claiming it's for 'bad Killers'; it's pretty obvious you just want it removed so you can loop longer.

Obvious? maybe but he still should mention it. I'm not in the mood to read people's minds and guess what they've actually meant. + You actually need to destroy them, that's the point of breakable walls, they're temporary and less useful once you break down the wall.

Because you have to drop chase if it takes too long, if you dedicate yourself to one survivor just to get blood lust tier 3, hit them and leave... That's how you lose as a killer and you're supporting bad gameplay, so your argument is invalid to me.

You don't have to, players are allowed to choose for themselves what they want to do during any point of the game.

Thank you! Glad to see that someone understood what I meant.

  • "Tier 3 rewards killer for playing terribly and punishes survivors for playing well which is why it should be removed."

    ----

If the survivor was playing well they would have forced a pallet break and reset the killer's Bloodlust.

If there is no pallet then the survivor has been outpositioned/outplayed.

If the killer refuses to break the pallet then infinites become a possibility.
