  • Depending on how much distance a survivor has on you, almost never try to use your first blink to get the hit. You should use her first blink to close distance and use your second blink to secure the hit. If a survivor breaks LoS, use your first blink to port to where LoS was broken and then use your second blink to adjust to what the survivor does. It take a lot of practice so don’t feel bad if you miss several blinks while you’re still learning.

  • She is extremely frustrating to play and learn nowdays, i'd reccomend to play any other killer with similar strength such as Spirit, Hag and Leatherface and leave her for last.

  • Former Nurse player here (before she was gutted), but I think my advice still works:

    • Don't be afraid to lose. Nurse is a difficult killer to play; losing is not only perfectly normal, it's expected. Accept that you will lose most of your trials until you learn to play her.
    • Plaid Flannel is a good way to study how her blink landing zone travels, but don't become dependent on it. Use it to observe and learn, then remove it and try to develop muscle memory and aiming skills (for vertical blinks).
    • Keep in mind that each survivor (the players, not the characters) runs differently. Try to learn how they move behind LoS blockers during the chase and use that against them. Smarter survivors (you'll learn to recognize them) will try to move unpredictably, but human brains are not good at being random. In effect, what's most likely going to happen is that they do the opposite of whatever they did before (go left instead of right, stand still instead of running, stuff like that).
    • Always try to keep a mental map of your surroundings. It's very easy to become disoriented while playing Nurse, this will help.
    • Read the wiki if you feel the need to understand her mechanics better and gameplay alone does not answer your questions.
  • You will absolutely lose almost every game you play starting as nurse because her gameplay is a complex one to learn. Her power is also very unforgiving and punishing if you make a mistake, don't beat yourself up too much over it. (It's part of learning her, high risk-high reward)

My best advice is to practice nurse on a smurf account or wait until rank reset because you won't really get a chance to practice her mechanics at higher ranks, where gens will FLY because you aren't able to keep constant pressure.

  • One thing I'll say is learn to adapt and read survivors on a case by case basis - Some will double back the moment you charge a blink, some will run around a corner and stand there, some will just keep running as far as possible, some will fake doorways - Learning these patterns and adjusting on the fly is a crucial skill to have on Nurse. Sometimes you blink ahead when you're experienced enough and cut them off and sometimes it's easier to conserve a blink and just follow the survivor slowly creeping your way for a guaranteed hit.

Thank you for all tips. I will try my best, i wanna learn Nurse because she is rewarding so good. If you have any good nurse main channel/streamer that will also help.

I do not like Spirit. She is so op unfairly. But i am already good as Leatherface and i am playing as him so much already. Hag is other option for me but i wanna try as Nurse first.

Right now your main focus needs to be learning her blink ranges. Go into a match, find a area to blink around and just try blink to objects and back to your starting point increasing distance as you get more familiar with her ranges.

Don't worry about piping or dripping because once you master Nurse you'll rank you really fast.

Once you get use to Nurses blink ranges you've ready to start chasing. You need to study each and every survivor's pathing and how they are reacting to you. Are running in straight line? Are they bank juking? Do they run behind a LoS blocker and than run back? You always wanna predict and adjust your approach based on survivor's actions.

I'm a former Nurse main that learned her on console per-nerf.

As a reference here's a fatigue time table

    1 blink = 2 seconds of fatigue

Additional blinks = .5s of fatigue

Swinging after a blink hit or miss = .5s of fatigue

    Help tips

If you think your gonna over blink, look downwards to cancel/shorten blink distances. Though be warned of maps such as meat plant and being near the basement as it will blink you downstairs.

You can use your blink charges as a mind-game to trick survivor's. If you wanna get a reaction out of survivor's you can use one, and just charge your second blink until fatigue to try and get a reaction out of survivor's.

Pallets and windows are your best friends as survivor's lock themselves in animation, quickly get to the other side of the window/pallet and get the hit on them as they are stick in animation
